Sliced Beet Salad with Orange Vinaigrette
Makes: 6-8 servings ~ Prep Time: 20 minutes ~ Freezing: Not recommended
Candied Pecans
3 tbsp (45 mL) corn syrup
1 tbsp (15 mL) sugar
½ tsp (2 mL) salt
½ tsp (2 mL) pepper
½ -1tsp (2 – 5 mL) cayenne pepper to taste
1½ cups (375 mL) pecan halves
Vinaigrette
¼ cup (50 mL) orange juice
1 tbsp (15 mL) orange zest
2 tbsp (30 mL) canola oil
1 tsp (5 mL) honey
1 tbsp (15 mL) balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
Salad
1 jar (750 mL) Bick’s® Sliced Beets, drained
and rinsed
¼ Spanish or Red Onion, thinly sliced
½ cup (125 mL) crumbled goat cheese or
blue cheese
1 tbsp (15 mL) fresh mint, chopped

Candied Pecans
1.Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
2.Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
3.Combine all ingredients in a bowl, place a single layer on baking sheet and
bake for 5 minutes.
4.Gently separate pecans with a fork.
5.Continue cooking another 10 minutes, until pecans are bubbly and brown.
6.Remove from oven, carefully separate with a fork (mixture will be very hot)
and allow to cool.
Vinaigrette
1.Place all ingredients in a jar. Cover and shake until combined. Store in
refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Assembly
1.Place sliced beets, onions, goat cheese
and mint on serving platter.
2.Drizzle with vinaigrette and top with candied pecans.
Serve immediately.
Grilled Steak Caesar Salad
Makes: 6 servings ~ Prep Time: 15 minutes + 1 hour sitting time ~ Cooking Time: 10 minutes ~ Freezing: Not recommended

Instructions
1.Combine all rub ingredients in blender until a smooth paste forms.
2.Spread on steaks and let sit at room temperature, about 1 hour.
3.Preheat grill to high.
4.Season steaks with salt and pepper.

5.Grill on high 2-3 minutes per side, or to preferred doneness.

Southwest Style Grilled Turkey Burgers
Makes 6 burgers ~ Prep Time: 15 minutes ~ Cooking Time: 10 minutes ~ Freezing: Excellent
Burgers
1 lb (454 g) ground turkey or chicken
¼ cup (50 mL) Bick’s® Hot Pepper Rings, chopped
3 cup (75 mL) Bick’s® Sweet Corn Relish
¼ cup (50 mL) cilantro chopped
¼ tsp (1 mL) chipotle chili powder
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp (5mL) salt
Pepper to taste
6 hamburger buns
Toppings
6 slices old cheddar
Bick’s® Sandwich Savers®, Bick’s® Hot Pepper Rings,
tomato slices, lettuce, guacamole (optional)
Tip
• For a healthier option, use whole wheat pita bread
and eliminate cheese.

1.Combine all burger ingredients.
2.Wet hands and form into 6 patties (mixture will be sticky).
3.Lightly oil grill and preheat to medium high.
4.Grill burgers, covered, 3-5 minutes per side or until juices run clear.
5. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings
All Dressed Hot Dogs
Makes: 6 servings ~ Prep Time: 10 minutes ~ Cooking Time: 5 minutes ~ Freezing: Not recommended

6 hot dogs, grilled
6 hot dog buns, toasted
6 tbsp (90 mL) Bick’s® Sweet Green Relish
2 tbsp (30 mL) mustard
2 cups (500 mL) lettuce, torn into bite sized pieces
1 cup (250 mL) cherry tomatoes, chopped
16 Bick’s® Garlic Mini Crunch’ems®, chopped
2 tbsp (30 mL) brine from Bick’s® Garlic Mini Crunch’ems®
2 tbsp (30 mL) olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

1.Place grilled hot dogs in buns and top with sweet
green relish and mustard.
2.Combine remaining ingredients in medium sized
bowl and toss.
3.Place tossed mixture on top of hot dogs.
4.Serve immediately.
Philly Cheesesteak Pita
Makes: 4 sandwiches ~ Prep Time: 10 minutes ~ Cooking Time: 10 minutes ~ Freezing: Not Recommended
¾ lb (375 g) beef striploin fast fry
steak, thinly sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
½ onion, thinly sliced
1½ cups (375 mL) Bick’s®
Mild Banana Pepper Chunks
1 tbsp (15 mL) vegetable oil
Salt and pepper to taste
4 White or Whole Wheat pita breads
Mustard to taste
Bick’s® Hot Pepper Rings
Bick’s® Sour Cocktail Onions
Bick’s® Extra Garlic Sandwich Savers®
4 slices regular or smoked cheddar cheese
Tip
• Tastes great with grilled vegetables,
chicken or grilled fish.
Note
• It is best to eat this sandwich straight
from the foil to keep it neat and tidy.

1.Combine sliced steak and garlic in re-sealable bag and marinate about 2 hours in refrigerator.
2.In a sauce pan, cook onions, and mild banana peppers in oil over high heat, until
charred. Remove from pan.
3.Add beef to pan and season with salt and pepper.
4.When beef is nearly cooked, add back onions and peppers. Continue cooking to preferred doneness.
5.Meanwhile, lightly sprinkle pitas with water, wrap in parchment paper or paper towels
and warm in microwave, about 15 seconds.
6.Remove pitas from paper, spread each pita with mustard down the middle and cover
with ¼ of the meat mixture.
7.Top with pepper rings, cocktail onions, pickles and cover with cheese.
8.Fold the bottom side of the pita over the filling and roll to make a cone.
9.Wrap each pita in aluminum foil and place back in pan (or BBQ), so that sandwiches
warm and cheese melts. Serve immediately.
Stuffed Baked Potatoes
Makes: 8 servings ~ Prep Time: 10 minutes ~ Cooking Time: 5 minutes ~ Freezing: Not recommended

large potatoes, baked
can (370 mL) Carnation® Regular, 2% or
Fat Free Evaporated Milk, warmed
2 cups (500 mL) shredded cheddar cheese, divided
¼ cup (50 mL) Bick’s® Hot Pepper Rings, chopped
1 cup (250 mL) Bick’s® Garlic Dill Pickles,
finely chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Additional Bick’s® Hot Pepper Rings for garnish, optional
Chopped chives for garnish, optional
Tip
• Stuff potatoes and refrigerate. When ready to eat, top with
cheddar cheese and broil in the oven or warm on the bbq
until potatoes are warm and cheese is melted and bubbling.

1.Preheat broiler to high.
2.Cut potatoes in half lengthwise, scoop out pulp and mash,
while gradually adding warmed milk. Add 1 cup (250 mL)
cheese and mix well. Reserve skins.
3.Mix in next 3 ingredients.
4.Place skins on foil-lined baking sheet and fill with mashed
potato mixture.
5.Top with remaining cheddar cheese and broil 3-5 minutes,
until cheese is melted and bubbly.
6.Garnish with hot pepper rings and chives.
Milk Chocolate Pudding
Makes: 6-8 servings ~ Prep Time: 5 minutes ~ Cooking Time: 10 minutes + 4 hours chilling time ~ Freezing: Not recommended
¼ cup (50 mL) sugar
¼ cup (50 mL) cocoa
¼ cup (50 mL) cornstarch
½ tsp (2 mL) salt
2 cans (370 mL each) Carnation® Fat Free Evaporated Milk
q cup (150 mL) brewed coffee, chilled
¼ cup (50 mL) Smucker’s® Sundae Syrup™ Chocolate Syrup
2 tsp (10 mL) vanilla
1½ cups (375 mL) milk chocolate chips
Whipped cream for garnish, optional
Chocolate spiral wafer cookies for garnish, optional
Tips
• To avoid a skin from forming on the surface of the
pudding, place plastic wrap directly on the surface of the
pudding during chilling.
• For a thicker pudding, use Carnation® 2% or Regular
Evaporated Milk.

1.Whisk first 4 ingredients together in medium sized saucepan.
2.Whisk in milk, coffee and chocolate syrup and bring to a boil
over medium heat, stirring constantly.
3.When mixture comes to a boil, reduce to a simmer and stir
constantly for about 3 minutes or until mixture thickens.
4.Remove from heat, add vanilla and chocolate chips
and stir until melted.
5.Pour into serving bowls, cover with plastic wrap and
refrigerate until chilled, at least 4 hours.
6.Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate spiral wafer cookies.
Frozen Swiss Roll Ice Cream Cake
Makes: 20-25 servings ~ Prep Time: 10 minutes + 3 hours freezing time ~ Freezing: Excellent

packages (400 g / 6 mini rolls each) individually wrapped
chocolate swiss rolls, sliced in 4
8 cups (2 L) vanilla ice cream, softened
½ cup (125 mL) Smucker’s® Sundae Syrup™
Caramel Syrup, divided
½ cup (125 mL) Smucker’s® Sundae Syrup™
Chocolate Syrup, divided
Additional Smucker’s® Sundae Syrup™ for garnish, optional

1.Line a 12 cup (3 L) metal bowl with plastic wrap.
2.Line inside of bowl with sliced swiss rolls, allowing them to
overlap if necessary. Reserve the remaining slices for the top.
3.Fill with 2 cups (500 mL) of softened ice cream, spreading ice
cream slightly up the sides of the bowl.
4.Cover with ¼ (65 mL) of caramel syrup.
5.Continue layering ice cream and alternating syrups, ending
with ice cream.
6.Place remaining swiss roll slices on top.
7.Cover with plastic wrap and freeze until firm, about 3 hours.
To serve, invert onto serving dish, remove plastic wrap and
garnish with additional sundae syrups.
“S’mores” Sundae
Makes: 1 sundae ~ Prep Time: 5 minutes ~ Freezing: Not recommended
1 scoop vanilla ice cream
2 graham crackers, crushed
2 tbsp (30 mL) Smucker’s® Sundae Syrup™ Chocolate Syrup
2 tbsp (30 mL) mini marshmallows
Whipped cream for garnish, optional
Maraschino cherries for garnish, optional
1.Place ice cream in a bowl and top with toppings.
2.Serve immediately.
