Greetings Friends of Shiloh!
There are lots of exciting things happening at Shiloh, and we are excited to update you all! Thanks to all of you for your
continued support of this amazing ministry that God has blessed us all to be a part of!
Snow Camp Updates:
Both of our Snow Camps went really well. The January Camp was smaller, but had a
good amount of snow and the kids who did come really enjoyed the small group. There
are things that happen with a small group that are missed in the larger camps. February
was larger with 81 campers I think, but there was no snow! Despite that, the kids
seemed to really enjoy the time. Our former Summer Missionaries and some of our
Timothies really stepped up to the plate to make that camp fun even without the snow.
Here is a short clip from my February personal letter about Snow Camp#2:
I wanted to share just briefly how God has blessed us with such quality kids coming up
through our Timothy Program and serving as Staff. There were several ways in which
God blessed us through them at this camp. I would like to point out just a few.
• We had more campers than expected, so I was not prepared with enough staff. However, some of our older Timothies
stepped up and rose to the occasion. They filled the needs, and did such a great job that I don’t think most people even
knew that we did not plan it that way. Obviously God had planned it that way, and what a blessing it was!
• Another way in which they excelled and did such a great job was through our activities. Since we had no snow, we had
to come up with some replacement activities at the last minute. I put some of our older Timothies (who have been Summer Missionaries, and one of whom is an InFaith Intern now) in charge. We brainstormed some ideas, and then I let
them run with it. They did a fabulous job! We did what we called
“Mountain Madness” which was a similar thing to our “Ultimate Challenge” that we run in the summer. These Timothies recruited some others, put a team of minds together and developed and refined ideas, put
all the pieces in place, ran the whole event, kept score (even docking
points for teams with bad attitudes), and literally thought of everything
they needed to make it all a success! It went over great, and everybody
had a fun time! Praise the Lord for what He did through these kids!
Spring Blow Out was smaller than nor mal this year . We had 91 kids,
which is a lot, but smaller than normal. Spring Break conflicts and other
events seemed to compete with us this year. Despite that, the event went
great! We had some fellow teens share their testimony, and I think that really hit home with those who
were there. I saw lots of
smiles on the faces of those
who came as they were leaving. Always a good sign, especially at 5:00a.m.
after being up all night long!
If you would like to volunteer and come be a part of stories like these, please
get in touch with us. E-mail Nathan at: [email protected].
Another Wind Storm!
This winter there was another massive wind storm up at Shiloh. Once again
hundreds of trees came down all over the camp property. Praise God for protecting us from any serious damage to our buildings! Jim has been working
hard to clean it all up, and others have shown up from time to time to lend a
helping hand as well. There is still lots to be done in this way before our summer camps start. If you would like to help, please contact Jim up at camp.
Shiloh Full Time Staff Updates:
•
Jim and Becki have been doing great as our new Facility Mangers, and Camp Host. Jim has been hard at work on building projects, tree clean up, etc. It is so nice to see all that he is doing. If you have not been to Shiloh for a while, please
come see what’s new! Becki loves to cook and has been such a great addition in that way as well as a big help with
some office work. Come see her and she will feed you!

Nathan & Meagan are working hard with all the Director responsibilities as well as
all that goes into the Timothy Program and their Timothy Discipleship groups, and
are discipling two Interns as well. Being located in Boise now has really helped facilitate many meetings and contacts, and has greatly reduced our time and money spent
on daily travels.
We are excited to report that the Board has hired a new couple, Nate and Lauren Leykam who will be joining the full time staff team at Shiloh! We are super excited for
this new addition to our team, and can’t wait until they arrive on the Field! Please
pray for them as they are finishing up their acceptance process with InFaith and will
be raising support over the next year or two. Pray that they can raise support quickly
and arrive here soon, as their help is greatly needed! Nate’s title will be Assistant
Director, and he and Lauren will be working closely with Nathan & Meagan and our
other Staff in leading the many ministries of Shiloh.
Financial Information & Building Project Updates:
The Shiloh Board has developed a plan for building projects, starting with the short term and continuing on for the
next few years. We have some really exciting ideas and projects that are in the works. From some “little” projects
designed to help with Staff Housing, finishing cabin improvements, and a few other smaller projects to our most exciting new venture which will be an addition to the current Chapel/Dining Hall Facility with the goal of providing a
more modern lodge experience with rooms that include bathrooms to help with adult ministries and rental groups.
Would you please consider joining us in prayer as we enter into this next phase that God is leading us into? A Building Projects Brochure with more information and plans will be coming out in the near future. Look for that soon, but
please consider beginning to pray even now!
As a non-profit ministry we rely on donations and volunteers to keep us going. If you would like to help in any
way, please contact the Shiloh Office or send any donations directly to Shiloh. To support any of our Full Time
Missionary Staff members, please contact them directly as each one is supported in a different way.
Wish List:
There are often little things we need around Shiloh that someone out there might be able to help us with. We
decided to start sharing them here, so you can be a part of it. Let us know if you can help in any way!
