Aloha Campaigners & Donors,
Are you excited for ASC?! We are! This year the theme for the KaimukiWaialae branch will be 80’s! If you couldn’t already tell.
Last Saturday, we had an awesome ASC Kickoff! Thank you to all of those
who came and represented our branch! We loved all of the 80’s looks.
We look forward to the Report Nights as well, since you should be coming
looking like you are right out of the 80’s! The next one will be February 23rd at
6:00pm.
Come take a look at our Pac-Man Goal chart when you get a chance in the
office. It is pretty awesome!
Thank you all for your hard work and dedication!
Let’s make goal this year!

Why Give To The YMCA of Honolulu?
We will always be here to serve our communities, in good times and bad.
The YMCA of Honolulu is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization founded in 1869.
For over 140 years, the Y has worked side by side with our local communities
through wars, economic downturns, social upheaval and health crises. The
YMCA is committed and equipped to meet the changing needs and challenges
of Oahu's families and communities.
Our youth and families need the YMCA, more than ever.
The Y is one of the largest providers of youth and teen programs in Hawaii
(including after school programs and teen outreach/counseling). The demand
for financial assistance and programs continues to grow. In 2014, the Y
assisted youth and families with almost $1,000,000 in financial assistance to
participate in many Y programs and services.
We are strong fiscal managers.
Over ninety cents for each dollar contributed overall (90%) goes directly to
provide financial assistance for those in need to participate in YMCA
programs and to support Y programs. Most organizations’ overhead averages
18-25%. The Y is committed to keeping its administrative costs low, while
still providing quality programs. The YMCA is debt-free and adequately
staffed with well-trained professionals. We invest in our facilities, staff and
programs to better serve our community.
We value our supporters.
At the Y, we consider donors part of our YMCA ohana. Many of our donors
have supported our Y for their entire lives, and for several family generations.
These relationships can only exist when there is a high level of trust, as our
communities have for our YMCA.
Please give to the YMCA of Honolulu 2015 Annual Support Campaign.
Know that your gift does make a difference.
Mahalo for your support!
