oin us for a free event on Saturday, August, 6, 2016 from 11:00am to 2:00pm in the
Colonial Park Fragrance & Sensory Garden. This year we are All-A-Buzz over
pollinators and the role they play in our environment. Enjoy a tour of the garden
and catch a glimpse of butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees at work in their fragrant
surroundings. Relax and listen to an enlightening presentation by award-winning
speaker Cathy Blumig of Wolgast Tree Farm & Apiary. As a popular speaker on a
variety of bee keeping topics, Cathy will focus on the importance of honey bees to
our food supply, how bees make honey, and how different floral sources influence
the color aroma and taste of honey. Participate in a wildflower honey tasting. Gather
some tempting recipes. Visit and Bee Delighted. A variety of Cathy’s hand crafted
soaps, lip balms, candies, different variety of honeys, propolis, and other hive products will be on display and for sale. For more information, please call 732 873-2459
