We Make it.
ot all brands of flexible beading wire are equal. For
more than 30 years, Beadalon has been the Originator,
Innovator, and Manufacturer of flexible bead stringing wire. We are
unique in the industry in that we are the only company that makes
its own wire, strand, and cable for bead stringing. Other brands
simply label or respool wire purchased from third party factories. We
operate our own factory 24 hours a day and schedule our production
according to market needs.

The manufacturing difference gives us the capability to design and
produce exciting new wire products in-house, such as the industry’s
first KINK FREE Ti Titanium wire, Silver Plated and 24K Gold Plated
wires, and our sophisticated range of Metallic and Satin Colored

Choosing the best
Beadalon wire for your
Beadalon bead stringing wire is composed of
tiny wires twisted together and nylon coated.
The number of tiny wires, also known as strands,
determines the flexibility of the wire. The larger
the number of strands, the more flexible the wire
will be. Therefore, 49 strand is more flexible than
19 strand, and 19 strand is more flexible than 7
strand. When choosing which type of wire to
use, consider the amount of drape you want your
design to have. 49 strand wire is very supple and
will drape elegantly, giving your designs a threadlike appearance. 7 strand wire is not as flexible,
but will hold its shape better. If you are new to
bead stringing or unsure how much flexibility you
require, we recommend starting with our middle
grade, 19 strand wire.

Design Tips for Using Beadalon Wires
Wire Guardian™
Scrimp® Finding
• Use the largest diameter wire possible that will pass
through the smallest bead hole in your design.
• Increase bead spacing. Spread contact with the wire over
a greater area to reduce the effects of abrasion.
• Choose a wire with the proper breaking strength
consistent with the weight and type of beads being used.
The diameter of the wire is not always a good indicator of
the strength.
Sbeady™ Wire Needle
• Choose the type of wire with the flexibility that will allow
your design to look, feel, and drape the way you want.
• Use Wire Guardians to minimize the effects of abrasion at
the clasp. (see photo at right).
• Use Scrimp findings and EZ-Crimp findings for maximum
connection strength. (see photo at right).
• Use Bead Bumpers in between crystals and glass beads
to cushion and protect beads from contact and wear.

49 Strand .925 Sterling Silver is for the purist designer that requires absolute
softness and flexibility in pure, solid .925 Sterling. A thin, crystal clear layer
of nylon gently covers the Sterling wire to prevent kinking and provide
abrasion protection. Due to its lower breaking strengths and extreme
softness, we recommend reserving this wire for your most precious designs.
For extended-wear designs, we recommend using our stronger, and more
abrasion resistant 49 Strand Silver Plated stainless steel wires.

and one straight 7 strand wire for making beaded necklaces, bracelets,
and other creative designs. Measure and cut cable to desired length. Allow
extra length when adding Crimp Beads or Clasps.
Steps 1, 2, & 3: Separate one of the 7-strand wire bundles from the cable,
and carefully unravel it all the way down the length of the cable necessary
for your project.

Made of Type 316L Stainless Steel, this specially tempered wire has a
different “feel” than other half-hard materials such as Goldfilled or Sterling
Silver, however it is a great alternative and is stronger. Originally available in
classic Round, it’s now available in 1/2 Round and Square shapes necessary
for wire-wrapping. This material is perfect for teaching classes and practice.
Ideal for all types of wire-wrapping, weight-bearing designs, and holding
designs together. Stainless Steel is harder and will work harden faster than
other wires, and resembles the finish of vintage platinum.

Wrap 3 sections of half-round wire around the
3 pieces of square wire, (center wire is twisted).
Position the wrapped portions, one in the
center and the other two at the same distance
from the center, you may need to adjust the
positions slightly by sliding them so that they
are positioned correctly.
Continue to size the wire structure to the shape
of the object/stone. Bend the structure slowly
so as not to over bend. It is better to make
many smaller bends. Bypass the ends with one
another, so that they do not get in the way at
the top.

Poly Nylon, also referred to as Polyamid, is a strong, fray-resistant, knottable
stinging material. It’s twice as strong and has half the stretch as ordinary

that provides maximum strength and flexibility for any bead stringing and
bead weaving project. It is made specifically for beading using an advanced
synthetic material, called Spectra®†, that provides extreme softness,
flexibility, and near zero stretch. DandyLine is 100% water proof and will not
stretch, and is an excellent choice for Seed Beads. Use Hard Beading Needles
for smaller diameters and Collapsible Eye Needles for larger diameters. Also

Collapsible Eye Needles - Flexible
Collapsible Eye Needles are flexible and are particularly nice for stringing
beads that have very small holes. Extra-spring wire is kink-resistant and
has a specially designed eye that automatically collapses and instantly
reshapes when it is pulled through the bead. The large eye is easy to thread
and accommodates many sizes of cord. Five-inch length makes stringing
beads easier, and the 2 1/2” needles are great for seed bead projects.

1. To use a Curved Beading Needle with any
Spin-N-Bead, fill the bowl about half-full
with beads.
2. Grasp the spinner and spin. (not too fast
though, the beads might fly-out).
3. Insert the Curved Needle into the spinning
beads in the opposite direction of the spin
and watch them jump onto the needle!
When ample beads are on the needle, then
move them to the connected stringing material
and dip the needle back into the spinning beads
to load on another few inches.
