The last game was very hard. In the first half the team of Primorska was very
successful behind the 6,75m line. And our defense wasn’t so good. In the
second half we played much better, but wasn’t enough for the win. We are
really impressed with our accommodation, our room is very big and we have
a lot of space. We really like food and the pool, actually we love everything.
And we like Koper very much; its great and we love the seaside.

We started the last game very well. We played good, but in the third
quarter we had a little misshape, but with right organization we manage
to win the game. I would like to congratulate Turkish team for the great
game, and their fair play. And I hope that they will advance to the finals.
I really like Koper, it’s small and beautiful. The organization of this EUC is
probably ten times better than last year. Our accommodation is great,
and I think that the best thing was to put every team in same hotel. So we
can socialise and exchange new experience.

students, who are engaged in basketball
at a high competitive level. With socializing and connecting, understanding of
victories and defeats, the world is becoming a smaller and friendlier place, while
created ties between individuals from many different countries remain permanent.

I think that the EUC is well organized. We have everything we need. I really
like that we are all accommodated in same hotel. And we can connect with
others easily and we can gain new friendships.

The organization of the championship is great; the timetables are transparent
and timely published. The fair play is present at the games, and the judges are
objective. And in general the games are beautiful. I saw four games so far and
I hope to see it much more.

I will speak on behalf of the whole team. We love Koper, because it is similar
to our city Aveiro and it’s beautiful. Our accommodation is great, the food is
good, but our room has one small disadvantage. We don’t have Wi-Fi in our
room, but we will survive. We also had time to see city center, and we love it.
It is small and beautiful.

Basketball is life
On the 5th day of the 13th European Universities Basketball Championship
the Organizing Committee hosted the All star basketball game for people
with disabilities as part of a charity project “Basketball is life”. The project
promotes the integration of people with intellectual disabilities (PID) in a
modern society.
On the central stage of EUC Basketball 2015
in OŠ Koper the participants, guests and
spectators were part of the closing event
of the charity project “Basketball is life”
hold by the 7th consecutive year
by Siniša Drobnjak and Boštjan Nachbar.
Nachbar coluld’t be present at the event,
because he’s still with the Barcelona team
playing the finals of Spanish league against Real
Madrid, but the Slovenian national team players
Smiljan Pavić, Dragiša Drobnjak and Nebojša Joksimović
(who is the ambassador of the 13. EUCB Koper) were on the court.
For the 7th year in a row the project which
helps to prevent the stigmatization of
people with mental disabilities and their
marginalization was a big success.
Seeing the smiles on the faces of the
participants was the biggest victory of the day.

USZP covers the field of student
sport with organization of University
sport league competitions in Futsal,
Basketball and Volleyball.
The most popular project of USZP is called
the Perfect Ten (Čista Desetka), this is a
festival of sport and fun for students of the
Littoral region.

sports clubs of Primorska was
founded in 2003 to organize the
European Universities Basketball
Championship. The associaton
was later renamed in University
Sports Association of Primorska
(USZP – Univerzitetna športna
zveza Primorske).
Students can also daily come to
recreation which is held in STS Sports
hall, where they can play Basketball,
Volleyball, Futsal, Badminton, etc.
