waterproof seal. Resists oil, gas, brine, weather and most

sealant. It may be used anywhere, above or below the water line, on

Available in two consistencies: Type P - pourable
for decks and other horizontal seams, and Type H
- heavy, for application by knife. Type P requires
no priming regardless of the surface involved.

A one part fast curing teak deck seam sealant. It provides
outstanding waterproo ng and sealing qualities to wood
decks made of teak and other woods. Teak Deck Sealant
is fast skinning (30 minutes) and fast curing (24 hours).
It combines the ease of use of a one part sealant with the
outstanding performance of silicone rubber. The product is
applied in a normal fashion and sands clean after curing to
provide a smooth nish. It is unaffected by BoatLIFE Teak
Cleaners and Teak Oils. It is also non-corrosive, so it can

Sika ex®-296 is a one part moisture cured polyurethane adhesive
speci cally formulated for frameless bonding of large glass marine

3M Marine 5200 Adhesive Sealant
A one-part general all-purpose polyurethane
that chemically reacts with moisture to deliver
exible bonds with good adhesion to wood,
breglass, gel-coat, plastics and metals.
Paintable and sandable. Forms a watertight
weather resistant seal on joints and hardware
above or below the water line. This product is
approximately half the strength of 5200 and
allows for disassembly of parts.
This high-performance polyurethane adhesive sealant becomes
tack-free in 24-48 hours, and completely cures in 5-7 days with
no shrinking. The seal is extremely strong, retaining its strength
above or below the waterline. Stays exible–allows for structural
movement. Stress caused by shock, vibration,
swelling or shrinking is effectively absorbed. Has
excellent resistance to weathering and salt water.

EZ-Fillet is a wood our- lled two-part putty
speci cally designed for stitch-and-glue wooden boat
construction. Its ketchup-like, self-leveling consistency

resin (part A) is brick red in colour while the hardener
(part B) is a deep, dark green. A rich brown wood
tone results when the two parts are combined indicating complete
mixing. The putty thickens after mixing to form an easy to spread
thixotropic compound which will not run or sag.

Powerbond Epoxy is a strong, exible, impact resistant,
100% solids, non-shrinking epoxy/ polysul de rubber
bonding agent. It is a unique structural adhesive for
bonding wet cement to cured concrete, steel or other
bondable substrates. Powerbond is a gel, suitable
for overhead and vertical bonding and embedment.
Speci cally formulated with optimum compressive and tensile
properties for use under severe conditions of heavy shock and
vibration. Powerbond has excellent resistance to salt and fresh
water, salt spray, weathering, most acids, alkalis, solvents, oils and
fuels. Powerbond is mixed at a simple 1:1 mix ratio with colour

T-88 Structural Epoxy Adhesive
T-88 is a high-performance, non-brittle, two-part epoxy adhesive
designed to give superior results under adverse conditions. The
adhesive may be used without modi cations in normally tted
joints, and will cure in any thickness without shrinkage. T-88
is clear amber and becomes virtually invisible when varnished.
T-88 exhibits outstanding adhesion and permanence on a wide
variety of materials.
Recommended Uses:
Mixed at a 1:1 by volume ratio, T-88 will cure at temperatures as
low as 35°F. When fully cured, it is unaffected by water, oil,
kerosene, and many other chemicals. It will not stain wood
and is immune to fungus and rot. T-88 is unique in that it

A solution to dif cult gluing problems, G-2 Epoxy is specially
formulated for the best possible bonding to resinous and acidic
woods such as oak, teak, rosewood, and other tropical and exotic
wood types where other glues fail. G-2 is an excellent
all-around adhesive and provides a permanent,
waterproof bond for all types of woods, metals, rocks
and gems, concrete and non-waxy plastics.

and dry weather. Cold Cure Epoxy exhibits superior
strength and bonding capabilities down to 2oC (35o
F) even in moist and humid conditions. Cold Cure
is ideal for gluing together unlike materials such

This is an epoxy system for those who are
looking for the performance of systems
that mix at a 5:1 mix ratio. Available with
either a fast or slow curing agent. Can be
used in a wide variety of temperatures. Use
on metals and most woods. Use with llers
and thickeners for lling gaps and to make
sanding easier.
Fast hardener is recommended for the majority of applications.
At lower temperatures it produces a rapid cure achieving speci ed
physical properties at room temperature.

A medium-low viscosity, liquid epoxy resin
system that has been optimized for coating and
reinforcing fabric saturation in wood-composite
boat building. Designed for use with breglass,
Kevlar, Dynel, and graphite as well as on bare
wood. It has superior wet-out characteristics
with little tendency to foam or trap air. Both
the resin and hardener are nearly colourless and
are used in an easy 2:1 volumetric ratio. Fillers,
wood our, and bulking agents can be combined
with SilverTip Laminating Resin.

System Three Resins SilverTip GelMagic
A toughened, non-sagging, two component,
structural epoxy adhesive designed for
superior bonding to wood and most porous
materials. It is unique in that it starts as two
self-leveling liquids, which form a soft,
thixotropic, sag-resistant paste when mixed.
Measuring is easily accomplished by either
volume or weight. GelMagic requires no
additional modi cation with llers and
can be applied to vertical and overhead
surfaces without running. GelMagic exhibits exceptionally high
peel strength and employs a state of the art, two-phase epoxy
morphology, which creates an adhesive bond that is tougher, more
resistant to embrittlement and has better elevated temperature
properties than other room temperature cured epoxy adhesives.
GelMagic can be post-cured up to 140°F for even greater
performance.

How Martyr Protects;

To be assured of the best protection
anodes must be made of an active
alloy which is free of impurities, and
be correctly installed. Improperly
manufactured anodes, although no
different to look at, can form an
insulating surface layer that renders the
anode useless. Some poorly alloyed
anodes will "short circuit" by forming
miniature corrosion cells within
themselves. In this case they protect
themselves and not your boat. Martyr
anodes, manufactured to the ISO-9000
standard and alloyed to meet US-MilSpec 18001-J.
Mil-Spec anodes provide the best
protection available against the damage
caused by electrolysis. Based on time
tested designs Mil-Spec anodes offer
some distinctive advantages over the
competition including: -Smoother, more
precise castings. -Nuts cast into the
body for easier installation. -Aluminum
bushings cast in around fastener holes
to protect fastener life. -most models
are heavier - contain more material than

Canada Metal Prop Nuts
Most propeller shafts are partially
insulated from other parts of the vessel.
The relatively high-resistant electrical path
isolates the propeller from anodes attached
to the stern bearing, hull or rudder. The
Martyr Propeller Nut Anode is attached to the prop at
its axis and revolves with it. Stud hole and stud are not
provided.
