The event will be held on 14 June 2013 within the school grounds. The adidas School Fun-‐Run is a healthy, fun and active fundraiser that ensures we send the right message to our students about getting active, having fun and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The main focus of this event is on participation. Family support is most appreciated as we encourage all students to get involved. The reason why our school is participating in the adidas School Fun-‐Run is because we are aiming to raise money to purchase items for student initiated projects to “make Kumeroa-‐Hopelands School an even better place”, this means we need to raise at least $500, so to reach our fundraising goal we need every student to raise $10. Once fundraising is complete student prizes will arrive shortly after. Please note that all children will be participating in the Fun Run, regardless of whether they have been sponsored or not. We would like to welcome parents and family members to attend the adidas School Fun-‐Run to help cheer on the students. Programme NB: Fun Run will start at 1:10 after safety staff / house keeping and grounds brief. Proposed times: 12:00 Course set up 12:45 Safety talk: Marshals please report to the library. 1:00 Welcome and housekeeping information 1:10 Start Fun Run 2:10 Finish Fun Run 2:25 Presentation of certificates. To make this day a success we require volunteers to assist us in running the event. If you would like to volunteer and help out on the day please complete the form below.
