The Shwayder Brothers, the company's original founders, manufacture robust wooden trunks.
1941
Introduction of a new type of luggage: Streamlite.
1956
Introduction of breakthrough products including Ultralite, the first suitcase made of lightweight magnesium and ABS.
1958
Launch of Silhouette, the most advanced luggage made up to that time, included a new, modern shape and recessed

1962
The first ABS attaché case is created for a new generation of executives.
1967
