DAYTIME EXCURSIONS
16:00 - 18:00 Speedboat trip around the islands
in the Tres Bocas region, which forms part of the
world’s second largest freshwater river archipelago.
The vegetation of these islands is mirrored in the dark
waters creating a delightful and almost surrealistic
landscape and the perfect setting for some truly
spectacular photography. The river banks are dotted
with orchids and bromeliads and you will also be able
to spot toucans and macaws.

and listen to the sounds of the Tres Bocas region after
dark

region of Trincheira and a visit to see the pink
dolphins in Novo Airão. The trails are lined with
lianas, palms and tall trees that play a vital role in
the livelihood of the local people: several of these
species are used to build traditional homes, whilst
the bark and leaves are used for medicinal purposes.
Depending on the season, you will also have the
chance to observe exotic flowers and fruits.

region of Trincheira. The high river banks are a haven
of peace and quiet, and the ideal spot from which to
photograph the landscape. This trip includes a visit to
