MLS Listings Code Sheet
To better serve you, we have compiled a quick explanation of the listings you will be
receiving daily. This is so that you can better familiarize yourself with the way the
Toronto Multiple Listing Service posts its listings
Clicking on the property picture will open
a new window. You will also find additional
pictures, if any, on the new window.
Alternatively, if the property has any
additional pictures, you will find two arrows
at the bottom of the pictures (< and >). By
clicking on these, you can scroll through
the photo album
DOM: Days on Market
How long the property has
been active.
This is the area where you will find the LAST STATUS of the
property
New: Active listing
Bom: Back on Market
Pc: Price change
Dft: Deal fell through
Sc: Sold conditionally
Exp: Expired
Sld: Sold
Ext: Extended
Sus: Suspended
Lsd: Leased
Ter: Terminated
List: Price
MLS #:
The code
assigned to
each property
listed on the
MLS.
Properties can
be searched
by address or
MLS number.
Amenities:
Features of the
condominium
building that are
considered
common
elements
Maintenance Fees:
These are fees
which are paid
on a month-tomonth basis.
Utilities marked
with a “Y” are
included in these
monthly fees.
Utilities that are
marked with an “N”
are not included
and will be
billed separately.
Room
Dimensions:
This is where
room dimensions
and room
descriptions are
listed. These a are
generally listed
in metres (to
convert to feet
multiply by 3.3).
This is where you will find information on that chattels (i.e appliances) will be included or excluded
upon closing. These are some abbreviations you will most likely encounter:
Elfs - Electrical Light Fixtures
Brdlm W/L - Broadloom Where Laid
Gb&E - Gas Burner and Equipment
Cac - Central Air Conditioning
Dr, Lr, Br - Dining Room, Living Room, Bedroom
B/I - Built In
Hrdwd - Hardwood
O/Sized - Oversized
S/S - Stainless Steel
DW - Dishwasher
Mtn Fee - Maintenance Fee
U/G - Underground

updates, extras, and anything else the
listing agent may want you to know.
