The Rome Tourism Bureau is
happy to announce that on March
8th, 2016 the town of Rome was
officially recognized as a Bird
City! Rome is the 96th community
to become a recognized Bird City
since 2010.
Weekend in Rome

celebration will take place June 23
23-26th. Event will include helicopter
rides, mini mudder, Shermalot Water
Ski Show, fireworks, SUP the Rapids
Paddle Boarding demo and much
more! Don’t miss out on this great

Farmer’s Market
The first farmers market of
the season will be Friday May
22nd from 8 am until 1 pm.
The market is located in the
Alpine Village business park
and runs through September
25th. There will be many
gazebo presentations
throughout the season.
N.Y.A.T (Not Your Average Triathlon)
The Annual Central Wisconsin N.Y.A.T is scheduled for
Saturday, May 28 at the Lure, Barnum Bay marina. Enjoy a
fun
fun--filled event with the ease of selection and choice of
participation. Choose one event, two events, or all three
events. All participants will be able to pace themselves in
their selected event(s).

Shermalot Water Ski Team Annual Flower Sale
The flower sale will be on Satuday, May 7th from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Rome
Town Hall. Pre orders must be recieved by Tuesady, May 3rd. Support your local Water
Ski Club! These flowers make great Mother’s Day presents!

Team 2016 Shows
The skiers have been working hard this
winter to put together a great 2016 show!
Their first show is Saturday, May 28th at 6:30
pm at the Lake Arrowhead Dam. Shows run
Saturday evenings through September 3rd.

Dyracuse Spring Hours
Weather permitting Dyracuse will open on Saturday, April 2nd.
Park hours for the spring:
Wednesday: 2 pm
pm–– dusk
Saturday & Sunday: 10 am
am–– dusk
On April 24th there will be a motocross event! Come out and have a

Sand Valley Walking Tours
On Sunday, Aprl 24th Sand Valley will be having a
walking tour of their course. The tour starts at 1:00 pm, weather

Annual Easter Brunch
On Sunday, March 27th Lake Arrowhead will be having their annual
Easter Brunch. Brunch will start at 10:00 am and go until 2:00 pm.
Prices are $18.95 for adults, $8.95 fpr children 55--12 and kids under 4 eat

Easter Dinner at the Sherwood Lodge
Come out to the Sherwood Lodge to celebrate Easter! They will be
having a free Easter buffet from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.

Craft Beer & Sausage Pairing
On Saturday, April 2nd Lake Arrowhead will be hosting a craft beer &
sausage pairing. The fun begins at 1:30 pm. There is a charge of $8.00

Association
The WTA Shooting Complex and Homegrounds RV
Park will open for their 2016 season on Friday, April
15th. The shooting complex will be open Wednesday
Wednesday-Sunday’s from 12:30
