"NIPPON E YOKOSO!" ‒ Unique Access to Japan!
"NIPPON E YOKOSO!" ‒ Unique Access to Japan! Have you ever wanted to travel to Japan? Are you curious about its unique blend of ancient
and modern ways? As you might know, it’s not really an easy or even affordable place to visit
unless you have connections to give you a helping hand. Now you do, with World Campus
International, Inc. providing you an affordable alternative, with an in-depth travel and
educational experience in Japan.
Founder & CEO, Hiro Nishimura and his international team invite you to take part in the
World Campus- Japan program – a once in a life time opportunity for you to experience the “land of the rising sun”.
You, along with around 40 other diverse participants from around the world will experience unparalleled access to
Japanese community activists, business leaders and politicians. Our class varies in age, professions, education, religion
and politics. And yes, you will have a chance to live in the “far east” with unforgettable Japanese families giving you a
new kind of host family experience.
Our flexible program schedule is developed to fit around your finances and lifestyle by offering 2, 4, 6 or 8-week
programs starting Summer 2011.
Our credibility and experiences come the relationships our staff have established over the past 15 years with
communities throughout Japan including Tokyo, Osaka, Toyota and Nagasaki. Our relationships in Japan
range from national, prefectural, and municipal governments, as well as local Boards of Education, to ensure
that our participants get in-depth access to Japanese society. Additionally, throughout our program each
participant will engage directly in rich and diverse activities with globally relevant educational themes, such
as Peace and Conflict, the Environment, Urban Renewal and Social Welfare Systems. The content of the
learning comes from resources in local organizations, politicians, universities, business leaders, as well as
from our own participants in this highly interactive environment. Please check at www.worldcampusblog.org
for our past activities.
It has been four years since we established the World Campus – Japan program. We have successfully
facilitated six seasonal programs in 12 Japanese communities, resulting in 193 globally aware alumni from 37
countries, including people from Germany.
“I could have visited the Nagasaki Peace Museum as a tourist and I probably would have been touched, but
to hear a survivors story first hand, and then to talk about it with other World Campus members from all
around the world truly happens only once in a lifetime. I arrived in Narita Airport in July as a tourist, and I’d
like to think I departed two months later, as a citizen of a global community.” Meghan Kuntz, U.S.A.
