SRT-EON SECURITY SERVICES SDN BHD (86334-X)
SRT-EON IN BRIEF - PAST, PRESENT & THE FUTURE
SRT-EON Security Services Sdn Bhd is a member company of DRB-Hicom Group. It was
formed on 24th January 1992 through a merger between SRT Security Guard Services Sdn Bhd
and Edaran Otomobil Nasional Berhad (EON) with transfer of 40 % interests from the former to
the latter. The merger brought another huge development in security industry with the
symbiosis and insinuation between corporate values of DRB-Hicom and trade professionalism of
SRT, the synergy of which was impetus to propel SRT-EON Security Services to its respectable
status today as a leading security company. Originally established on 19th June 1982 as SRT
Security Guard Services Sdn Bhd, SRT-EON accentuated itself from the rest by the emphasis on
quality commitment and reliability. Concomitant with quintessential EON's corporate values
and essential expertise that SRT inherited from years of experience, SRT-EON transcended as a
leading force in security management.
The Company operates throughout Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak with a total
workforce exceeding 2500 personnel. Six Regional Offices have been set up since, in line with
the momentum of expansion namely, East Malaysia; East Coast; Northern; Central 1; Central 2
and Southern in enhancing efficiency of all the 39 Branches. The rapid expansion also
necessitated the Company to upgrade its computer systems in 1993 and later on in 1997
alongside revamps in organisation, policies and procedures. With its efficient system of
operations and effective link of communications, the Head Office located at Kelana Jaya is able
to maintain close monitor of all branch operations, hence enabling in depth commitment in
providing customer oriented services to all our clients.
Despite the sometimes severe manpower shortage faced by security industry, SRT-EON
still remains the mainstay in labour dependent armed guard, unarmed guard and CIT services.
SRT-EON recognises the needs for reliable, total and technologically inclined security
protection systems and services, has managed to address the situation by using a collective
marriage between labour oriented activities with security technology. This is why SRT-EON have
created a specialised department called the HI TECH Department to cater for the markets
electronic security segment. By complimenting physical security with electronic security such
as CCTV Surveillance Systems, Access Control Systems and Alarm Monitoring Services, SRT-EON
will be better equipped to handle the current and future challenges within the security industry
and in crime prevention activities.
1
SRT-EON is also prominent in playing a leading and influencing role in the Security
Services Association of Malaysia (SSAM) and the Asian Professional Security Association (APSA).
Spearheaded by its Executive Chairman (Y.Bhg Dato‟ Haji Rahmat Ismail) who is the President
of APSA MALAYSIA and APSA International, SRT-EON, is in position to dictate directions of this
industry towards objectives that would benefit the industry as a whole, the Company and

BUSINESS AND INDUSTRIAL ALARM SYSTEMS
With a million things to worry about, it‟s easy to forget one of the most important
aspects of security. Secure your home and business. Security – without it … you’re
vulnerable. With crime ratio on the increase, theft and burglaries are a daily affair
with huge losses of assets from such incidences becomes not only a major nuisance
but to some, becomes a
tragic incident with injury or even loss of life. Burglary isn‟t always the motive for
an illegal entry. Sometimes, it can be a violation of our loved ones by an intruder.
Isn‟t it time we got down to doing a lot of serious thinking…. keeping our loved ones,
possessions and property safe from intruders? Installing the BEST SECURITY SYSTEM
is the strongest crime deterrent!
If you want to get the best protection for your family, home and business, start by
making the right choice by installing our hi-tech security equipment, you, and only
you YOURSELF hold the key to reducing the chances of crime and loss by convincing
people that „your place is NOT the best place to attempt a crime’.
All our products are given a 1 -Year Warranty against manufacturing defects.

of security it offers – not every
criminal is so easily deterred.
Is having only an
Alarm System good enough?

NEW BUSINESS DEPARTMENT
The market globalization and intense competition of new entrants in this security
industry has shifted us towards new businesses that gave us greater competitive
edge. The extension of security is not only confine to the traditional guarding
business however it compasses every aspect of human interaction and living where
security nowadays is the main issue in our life. The intense competition in this
industry leads us to compete immensely with the rapid development of technology,
security and global securities issues. Thus, the new businesses that lead to greater
securities measures will enhance further for a better safe and secure environment.
I. SECURITY PARKING
The SECURITY PARKING new business basically is a

number of crime, murder and rape cases recently
particularly in the parking area has instigated the
public and the government on the issue of safety
and security. In this new security parking, the
parking is operated by the SECURITY GUARD itself.
This will add better value services to the parking
industry itself and give better “secured” parking environment. SECURITY GUARD
MONITORING The parking area is guarded, monitored and administered by our
distinctive well trained security guards. CCTV MONITORING of the incoming and

south to Singapore. The operation is conducted with closely monitored by the highly
qualified technical operators at the control center. Using the Central Monitoring
System, our trucks are constantly in touch through the mobile telephone installed in
the vehicles. The trucks are also fitted with the most advance communication
technology i.e. the GPS (Global Positioning System) which enable us to accurately
monitoring and tracking the positioning of the vehicles anytime anywhere. Thus in
the event of the vehicles being kidnapped, attack or going out of the registered
routes, two things will take place.
1. The alarm system installed in the vehicles giving out alarm Sound, which is
automatically, operates the CMS Station.
2. The operators will then locating the position of the vehicle through the GPS
system.
OPERATIONAL BACKUP SYSTEM
When the trucks are moving along the highway, our substation bases at the selected
strategic location monitoring closely the movement. The drivers are to contact these
sub stations as they move close to the location. The objective of having these sub
