with ECE R90 regulation.
Brembo S.p.A. - as a producer of brake systems and components
as original equipment and for the independent spare parts market
- hereby certifies that its products are manufactured to the highest
technical and quality standards defined for the automotive industry.
Furthermore, and in accordance with its own code of ethics, Brembo
S.p.A. is committed to a policy of continuous improvement in terms
of health, safety, work conditions and the environment.
With regard to the above, Brembo S.p.A. declares and certifies that
all Brembo friction products (brake pads, brake shoes, brake shoe
kits) are compliant with ECE R90 certification envisaged by EC
Directive 98/12/EC, which has been implemented and harmonised
in all European markets. This is certification of “objective quality”
and is confirmation of the complete reliability of the individual
product.
In accordance with the requisites of this certification, which is
issued by the Ministry of Transport of each individual European
country and is valid in all other European countries, each product
must bear a unique homologation number, marked on the
packaging and on the product itself, authorising its sale.
