Planinska kultura - Planinska zveza Slovenije
Planinska kultura
Mountaineering
and climbing culture
Planinska založba
Z začetki obiskovanj in raziskovanj gora so nastajali
tudi prvi zapisi o doživljajih in lepotah gora, ki
pomenijo začetke planinske literature. Dandanes PZS
okviru Planinske založbe izdaja planinske zemljevide,
planinske in plezalne vodnike, ki pokrivajo ves gorski
svet Slovenije, strokovno in leposlovno literaturo ter
druge edicije.
Planinski vestnik
je najstarejša slovenska revija, ki izhaja od leta 1895. V
svoji zgodovini pa ni bil le glasilo slovenskega gorništva
temveč tudi narodna, kulturna, strokovna, informativna
in okoljevarstvena revija.
Slovenski planinski muzej
je bil odprt v Mojstrani leta 2010. S svojo stalno in
občasnimi razstavami predstavlja razvoj slovenskega
planinstva in alpinizma ter obenem zbira in hrani
tovrstno predmetno, fotografsko in arhivsko gradivo. Je
prireditveno in družabno stičišče planincev, alpinistov
in vseh ljubiteljev gora.
Film
Gore so vir navdiha in privlačna kulisa tudi za filmske
ustvarjalce, ki so od leta 1931, ko je bil posnet prvi
slovenski celovečerni film, ustvarili vrsto igranih in
dokumentarnih filmskih pripovedi. V zadnjih letih se je
v Sloveniji uveljavil tudi Mednarodni festival gorniškega
filma.
Planinska založba (Publishing House)
The earliest visits and explorations of the mountains gave rise
to the creation of written accounts in which the mountaineers
described their experiences and depicted the beauty of the
mountains. These accounts mark the beginning of the mountaineering culture. Planinska založba, the publishing house of
the Alpine Association of Slovenia (Planinska zveza Slovenije),
issues mountaineering maps, mountaineering and climbing
guidebooks of the entire mountainous territory of the Republic of Slovenia, as well as professional books, literature, and
other publications.
Planinski vestnik (The Alpine Journal)
Planinski vestnik (The Alpine Journal), in publication since
1895, is Slovenia’s oldest magazine. Throughout its history,
Planinski vestnik has never been just a newsletter of Slovenian
mountaineers; it is a publication of great patriotic, cultural,
professional, informative, and nature conservation value.
Slovenski planinski muzej
(Slovenian Alpine Museum)
opened in Mojstrana in 2010. The Museum houses a permanent
and various temporary exhibitions on the development of
Slovenian mountaineering and alpinism, and keeps the related
material sources, as well as photographic and archival material.
It is a popular event venue and a social hub for mountaineers,
alpinists, and mountain lovers.
Films
Mountains are a source of inspiration and an attractive
setting held in high regard by film makers. Since 1931, when
the first Slovenian feature-length movie was made, Slovenian
mountains have been the subject of many movies and
documentaries. The International Mountain Film Festival has
become increasingly popular in Slovenia in recent years.
