WHAT:
The Event Chairs and Committee are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual
Cattle Baron’s Ball. This spectacular event follows in the long-standing
American Cancer Society tradition of the Cattle Baron’s Ball which provides
a fun and informal opportunity for guests to come together to support our
efforts in creating a world with less cancer and more birthdays.
Started in Texas decades ago, the Cattle Baron’s Ball is typically a Western
themed affair and features midway games, chance drawings, silent and live
auctions, incredible eats, and live entertainment. Guests are invited to wear
their best bling and/or favorite jeans and cowboy boots- either way get ready
to have a good time! This chic, yet causal event with a Western twist will be
the only one of its kind in Palm Beach and one you definitely don’t want to
miss!

On Friday, February 12, 2016 the American Cancer Society will host the 2nd Annual
Cattle Baron’s Ball at the International Polo Club Palm Beach in Wellington, FL.
A portion of the proceeds from this event, will support the efforts of the American
Cancer Society to “Finish The Fight” against cancer. Whether you’re joining the
fight to end cancer for a parent, a spouse, a friend or a child, everyone has a
personal reason for taking action. What we all share is the belief that we can end
this terrible disease if we work together.
While the Event Committee is hard at work planning this dynamic evening, it
would not be possible without the generous support of our community partners
whose dedication to our mission is truly lifesaving. Your donation will help us reach
our ultimate goal; eliminating cancer as a major health problem. In appreciation of
your individual/corporate sponsorship you will receive a variety of amenities
including recognition and publicity. Amenities vary based on sponsorship

· 2,114,568 visits were made to cancer.org

· 797 visits were made to breast cancer patients by our Reach to Recovery Volunteers
· 19,118 nights of free or reduced-rate lodging were provided
· 34,304 trips taking cancer patients to treatment were provided by ACS Road To Recovery volunteers
and other transportation programs
· 7,862 cancer patients who are uninsured or on Medicaid and received assistance through ACS
