Danika Smith (Pre K) was cleaning up water that was all over the counter in the restroom.
Ava Nystrom & Anna Woodbury (second grade) covered up a gross scene :)
Loral Hankey, Mariah James-Titus, Serinity Walter, Juhi Patel, and Isabelle Villenueva (seventh grade) all helped
Mrs. Howes organize and wrap auction baskets.
Owenn McCrumb (fourth grade) stopped what he was doing to help his Pre K buddy.
Grace Gruesbeck, Nathan Bright, and Alyssa Spayd (seventh grade) help stuff Friday Folders.
Annabelle Ferris (fifth grade) & Mr. Warren both gave lunch to students who forgot theirs on a day they needed
to bring them for a field trip.
Kody Juhas (eighth grade) held the door open for a student who was running late and had arms full of stuff.

Secretary Cathy Sayer! Great job on the first annual Island City
Academy 5k walk run “Dragon’s in the Woods” on Saturday, October
26th. Fun was had by all who attended. We are already looking
forward to next years event. Thank you again Mrs. Sayer.
It is that time of year when Island
City Academy begins the Box Top/
Campbell Soup Label Challenge.
The challenge starts on Monday,
November 4th and will run through
Monday, December 9th. Parents,
you can turn in your labels and Box
Tops to your child’s classroom
teacher. Please have your labels
counted and a note indicating how
many you have before turning them
in. The top class Pre-K to third and
top class fourth to eighth grade will
win a party of the teachers choice
the last week before Christmas
Break. Watch the Dragon Dialogue
each week to see how each class is
doing.

logo’s to chose
from (stop by office
to see) The cost
for small logo is
$5.00 and $10.00
for the large logo.

The Island City Academy P.T.O. Silent Auction is this
Saturday, November 2nd. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
This is a completely silent auction. There is no entry
fee to come and bid. Free child care service is available. The following items have been donated so far.
