The 'PeaceExperience' workshop forms a major part of the Brahma Kumaris' contribution to thc hltcrnational Year
for the Culture of Peace.The workshop has been designedfor individuals from any background who wish to
developa cultureof peace.
The two and a half hour workshop is being conducted worldwide by the Brahma l(umaris. Its aim is to cnable the
individual to crcate a practical and highly effective plan of action for casy,everydayuse to enjoy a more pcaceful
lifestyle.Basedon thc Appreciativetnquiry approach,the workshop comprises4 phases:DiscoveringPcacc.
Visioningpeace,DesigningPcaceand Living Peace.
This creative and versatile workshop is available for families, communities, organisationsand groups of people
worldwide who wish to conduct the workshop in their own environment. The user friendly workshop materials
contain comprehensiveguidelines and tips for facilitators, background information on Appreciative Inquiry and
include documents to create acetatesfor overhead projection.
