• Call 4 to appear
• BUT what to do if proposals are not approved or not opened
in the research area of interest?
An example of Internationalization, Research and
Intercontinental Cooperation: IRSES
•
•
•
•
IRSES - International Research Staff Exchange Scheme
EU 7th FRAMEWORK PROGRAMME
Program PEOPLE (mobility of researchers)
MARIE CURIE ACTIONS
•
Consortia: min 2 EU partners + non-European partners (with S&T Agreements
with EU)
Funding: €2100,00 per month of mobility
•
•
In Horizon 2020 there is a RISE Program allowing the involvement of SME and
with better funding
•
IRSES and RISE are R&D programs for mobility of researchers and not Mobility
projects for students (for studies or internships)

Conclusions
• There are opportunities besides joint EU-Brazil
calls (in H2020, Erasmus+, agreements CNPq,
CAPES, FAPx with European institutions, P&D
projects from Brazil, etc)
• Need to find co-funding EU-Brazil
• Important to find win-win relations, and to be
able to measure the impact of project in both
places
