M O N TA G E M E X I C A N A
Dear Montage supporters,
Our annual auction is a great example of how the Whitfield community works together toward the central purpose of supporting
our educational mission.
Thank you to Kim Chulick (T.J. ’15) for chairing the auction this year and assembling a stellar team of volunteers. It takes a lot of
time and energy to seek auction donations, plan and organize the event, and make it all come together so seamlessly.
Thank you to all who provided auction items and underwriting gifts; to our staff who work diligently to support all aspects of the
event; and to our teachers who volunteer their time and talents in a variety of ways.
I hope you enjoy every moment of the auction and the fiesta that follows. With each bid you make, our students are the winners;
so please raise your paddles high and often.
Sincerely,
Ruth E. Greathouse
Interim Head of School

1.To bid on a Live Auction item, attract the attention of the auctioneer by raising your bid paddle high above your head at the appropriate
time. Each bid legally obligates the bidder to pay the bid price in full if his or her bid is deemed final at the fall of the auctioneer’s
hammer. The auction will be fast-paced, and bids must be made quickly. Bidding is closed only by the auctioneer. Decisions of the
auctioneer are final.
2.Certificates for Live Auction items will be taken directly to the highest bidder’s table.
3.Whitfield School has endeavored to catalogue and describe the items and services correctly, but everything is sold “as is.” Previously
unannounced, and/or duplicate Live Auction items, if any, may or may not be identical to published descriptions. The auctioneer will
make reasonable attempts to clarify and provide an accurate description of duplicate Live Auction items. By his/her purchase, the
buyer waives any claims for liability against either the School or the donor of goods and services.
