The meeting date of the Regular Membership Meeting for March has to be moved to
March 22nd due to primary elections being held at the Post on Tuesday. The April regular
membership meeting will be moved back to Tuesday. Please mark your calendars if you are
planning on attending. Speaking of attendance, it has been pretty sparse. Plan on attending the regular membership meetings to have a say about what is going on IN YOUR
POST. With elections coming in May, every position is open. Give some consideration to
putting your name up for consideration.
The LUCKY DUCK PULL is coming on March 19th. Activities including: music, games,
food, vendors, a car show & off course…. the LUCKY DUCK PULL! will be overtaking the
Post on that day. Buy your ticket and come join in the festivities! It will run from Noon-?

God bless you, your families, all our service members where ever they are serving
and God Bless the USA.
DO NOT FORGET THAT ELECTIONS AT THE POST ARE DRAWING NEAR!
ALL POSITIONS ARE OPEN!
THIS IS YOUR POST AND YOU CAN HAVE A VOICE BY GETTING INVOLVED!


The reason many U.S Army helicopters are named after native-American tribes is because the first
U.S Air Force bases were located on Native-American reserves.

The U.S. military originally planned to provide personnel, vehicles, and costumes for the film
‘Independence Day’, but backed out after producers refused to remove the script’s Area 51 references.

friendly by others looking through night vision goggles.
The 442nd Infantry Regiment, composed of largely Japanese American unit that served during WWII,
did so while their families were held in internment camps. Their motto was “Go for Broke” and they

With the new year comes the responsibility of electing Officers for the upcoming year. Applications for Officers will be
available at the conclusion of the March General Meeting. The Slate of Officers will be set at the conclusion of the April General meeting. The elections will be held on the day preceding the May General Meeting. Voting hours will be announced in
future SOUND OFF letters. ALL MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING MAY RUN FOR OFFICE.
There is no voting in the March meeting. I will have available to the Chairman of the Election Committee a form that all of the existing Officers can fill out to
express their desire to run for an office position for the coming year. This helps the Chairman when hunting for people to fill any vacancies

I would like to thank all the SAL members, their wives and the Ladies' Auxiliary for a great job on the Valentines dance. It
