1 Arrival in Lucerne
From the border, airport or any other destination in
Switzerland, train to Lucerne. A short walk to the

Depending on your arrival time, you might decide
to discover the town on your own. Overnight in

4 Chur – Brig
During about 4h ½ on you Glacier Expres trip from
Chur to Brig you will pass over several bridges and
through many tunnels while traversing the Alps.
Along the deep valley of the Rhône, over the Oberalp pass and through the impressive Rhine Gorge
the Glacier Express travels through a fascinating
and impressing part of the Alps. A short walk from

2 Lucerne – Lugano
Get onboard the historic paddlewheel steamer
of the Wilhelm Tell Express or take a motor boat
(whichever is available) for a cruise up to Fluelen. A
light meal will be served on board (included). When
you arrive in Fluelen a short walk will take you to
the railway station. Comfortably seated in a 1st class
panoramic coach you will enjoy the scenery. Transfer
