FCA LEADERSHIP CAMP / ST SIMONS ISLAND, GA
COMMUNITY & CAMP MINISTRIES, Gary Serrett
As I write this we are preparing for our annual PLT – Power Leadership Training weekend at UAH. This is an amazing camp for our students across North Alabama as they get refreshed in the Lord and receive training on how to be sold out leaders for Christ on their campuses. Last year we had over 500 people aFending the camp and this year we look to surpass those numbers! Adrian Despres will be the keynote speaker. He is the chaplain for Steve Spurrier’s South Carolina Gamecock football team and is an amazing ChrisLan communicator. Jonathan & Lisa Moore and their band will lead worship. The event is capped off with a concert of prayer. It is an humbling experience to see hundreds of students join with each other in prayer for their schools, teachers, communiLes and naLon. This camp serves as a powerful kickoff to the new school year.
which we hope will reach over 1,000 students and coaches with the gospel of Jesus Christ. November 14th we will be in Cullman, the 15th in Guntersville and the 16th in Huntsville. Please contact the FCA office for more informaLon on these events.
Lastly I would like to thank all our donors for their financial gi^s to FCA. 100% of our budget comes from donaLons and we have remained healthy in a tough economy.
