From August 21 to August 30 we present ’’Trekantområdets Fest Uge’’
events for all aspects of cultural life in the Triangle Region. We invite you and your whole family to join the fun. With so many activities
to choose from, we have included all that would fit to include in the

More than 700 citizens from across
the Triangle Region have contributed
by knitting triangles that have been
stitched together, creating six beautiful
works of art.

In the town of Vejen, where you
would least expect it, you’ll find
small new worlds- in a puddle, in a
broken tile at the bus stop, on the
playground or at the curb in front of
the supermarket. Keep your eyes

The Bus Project III - meet an
artist in the bus
Get an artistic experience in three
local buses in Vejle, Fredericia and
Kolding and a long-distant bus
towards Billund from August 24 to
28. Buses run their ordinary route.
Along the way various artists join
the bus to create performance -art,
readings, musical performances,
philosophical pieces and video art.
You can also meet The Bus Project
on our portable scene, moving to
different locations in Billund, Vejen
and Vejle. Plus, a selected bus
Mike Tylak has found inspiration
by taking the scenic route around
Denmark in search of abandoned
industrial buildings and houses that
have been forgotten by people and
embraced by nature. The exhibition shows a selection of linocuts
- including a new ’’pressure over the
road’’. The series is part of an on
going project dedicated to various
Danish urban areas/villages, whose
common denominator is settlement
and decay. The exhibition will also
include a number of photos from his
latest book ’Impressions from the
edge’, 2014. The artist is present
at the opening and will be serving
small refreshment.

If you ask the acclaimed British author
Fay Weldon, what her many novels and
stories are about, she replies: The battle of the sexes - or rather stories from
the marriage front. Through 34 novels
and numerous TV games and plays,
she has always created a stir and
discussions with its texts and positions. During her first visit to the Triangle
Region she will chat about her books
and the time in which she writes.

Lord Sivas (RAP/hiphop)
Kolding Culture scene
After the release of Lord Sivas second
EP ”180” in December 2014, time has
not stood still for the young rapper and
singer. He has earned much recognition for his innovative sound and his

60’s rock’n’roll, band competition, Vejle
Rock’n’roll music ravaged Denmark
in the mid-sixties, and there were
band competitions everywhere. The
best sixties style can still be heard
live at Vejle museums during a
competition where local bands from
theTriangle Region come to play
their own versions of songs from the
sixties.

names like MØ, Sekuoia and Bear Pig,
Smerz, Bwoy The Bhajan and JONGPADAWAN. In 2015, it is time to introduce audiences to new names from the
electronic underground scene.

Join the concert with the Danish international hip-hop success Outlandish.
The three childhood friends from the
Copenhagen suburbs are still grooving
and creating catchy pop rhythm and
lyrics with influences from hip hop and
world music. Come early for a total
cultural and gastronomical experience, as residents at the Asylum Centre
offer food tastings from their home
countries’ cuisine plus dance shows
and demonstrations. The fun begins at

Dystopia Hunt is a breath taking
5-mile obstacle course where you
have to run for your life past an
army of cultists, zombies and other
