S Note™
S Note™ lets you create complex multimedia on-phone notebooks to capture and share your brilliant ideas.
Creating an S Note
1.Touch S Note.
5.Touch Save to save
the note or Close to
exit the note without
saving it.
2.Touch Create note (+).
3. Select a template:
• Note
• Idea note
• Meeting note
• Magazine
• Diary
• Recipe
• Travel
• Memo
• Birthday
4. Write and edit note
as desired.
S Note™
The S Note™ widget displays your notebooks and gives you quick access to create a new note from the
Home screen.
The S Note Widget
1. To add the widget,
touch and hold a blank
spot on any home
screen and select Apps
and widgets.
5. Or touch the Create
note tab and choose
a note template to
create a new note.
2. Select the Widgets
tab.
3.Touch S Note and
drag it into the
place on the home
screen.
4. In the widget, touch
any notebook cover
to open an existing
note.
S Note™
Share an S Note™ with friends or co-workers via email.
Share an S Note via Email
1. After creating and
saving an S Note, touch
Menu key > Share via.
5.Touch Send to send
the email.
2.Touch S Note file (.snb)
to share the native,
editable file. You can also
share the S Note as an
image file (.jpg), a PDF
(.pdf), or as plain text.
3.Touch Email or
Gmail.
4. Enter the recipient’s
email address, a
subject, and body
text.
S Note™
Share an S Note™ with another S Beam™ capable device just by touching the devices back-to-back.
Share an S Note via S Beam
1. First, ensure that S
Beam is enabled on both
devices.
a. On each device, touch
Apps > Settings.
b. Touch Share and
Transfer.
c. Next to S Beam, move
to the slider from Off to
On (which also enables
other NFC features).
2.Touch S Note and either
open a saved note or
create and save a new
note to be shared.
3. With the saved note
on screen, touch the
two devices back to
back.
4. When the Touch
to beam message
appears, touch the
screen with the saved
note on screen to send
the note to the second
handset.
