Vehicle Overview
Acura introduced its MDX as a 2001 model. Before long, the midsize sport
utility vehicle from Honda's luxury division began to tally impressive sales
totals. Shoppers even faced waiting lists for the car-based seven-passenger
MDX, which is loaded with luxury features.
The MDX is built on the platform used for the previous-generation Honda
Odyssey minivan and is manufactured in Ontario, Canada. It competes
against such rivals as the BMW X5, Lexus RX 330 and Mercedes-Benz MClass.
XM Satellite Radio is standard for 2005, and all models equipped with
Acura's navigation system get General Motors' OnStar communication
system. The navigation system was enhanced to include additional voice
commands. The Touring Package now features HandsFreeLink phone
operation, which allows a compatible mobile phone to be used as a handsfree car phone. The fuel tank has increased, and Acura's Vehicle Stability
Assist electronic stability system has been enhanced.
Exterior
Styled in California, the MDX features sloping rear roof pillars like those on
the RX 330. According to Acura, its SUV "strikes a balance between
muscularity and elegance," starting with a sharply chiseled front fascia and a
wide stance.
Bold creases highlight the hood and bodysides, and the grille is similar to the
one used on Acura's sedans. The MDX has 17-inch alloy wheels and is
equipped with a four-wheel-independent suspension. Riding a 106.3-inch
wheelbase, the MDX measures 188.7 inches long overall and stands 68.7
inches tall.
Interior
Seven people occupy three rows of seats in the MDX, which has two front
buckets, a three-place split middle bench and a two-place split rear seat.
The center and rear seats fold flat into the floor to create additional cargo
space. Cargo volume measures 81.5 cubic feet when the second- and third-
row seats are folded flat. Standard features include leather upholstery,
remote keyless entry, a power moonroof and a seven-speaker cassette/CD
stereo system.
Under the Hood
A 265-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 teams with a five-speed-automatic
transmission. All-wheel drive is standard.
Safety
Dual-stage front airbags, side-impact airbags for the front seats and side
curtain-type airbags for all three rows of seats are standard. All-disc antilock
brakes are installed.
Driving Impressions
Acceleration in the MDX is energetic, though a tad sluggish at first. It
handles with somewhat of a tight feel and comes across more like a
performance model than a relaxed highway cruiser — to keep the vehicle on
course, and the MDX grips the pavement tenaciously in curves.
Because the suspension is quite firm, the ride is close to luxurious on
smooth pavement but is less refined when the surface becomes even
moderately rough. The seats are exceptionally supportive, and occupants
have plenty of space. Other than a hearty roar during acceleration, the MDX
operates quietly.

Review: My MDX has been fantastic so far - a great family car. I've averaged 20 mpg (on mostly
highway driving), which is a bit higher than I expected. Acceleration is quite good, and the car is
really comfortable. Good cup holders, radio reception (things that are more important than you
think).
Favorite Features: Acceleration, fuel economy (for an SUV), looks, comfort, interior room
Suggested Improvements: Dual climate controls for passenger and driver

Review: I have been driving an SUV for 16 years and this is by far my favorite of the lot! I bought
my 1st MDX 4 years ago when they first hit the market and I now have my 2nd. I love the look and
the ride is comfortable and car like. It is totally reliable and the size is perfect for a sports Mom with
3 growing boys. I can't imagine a better SUV available in this price range! Drive one and you will
be hooked
Favorite Features: 3rd row back seat, Metallic white paint, superb ride
Suggested Improvements: Allow the window in the hatch to open independent from the hatch
door.

When the first owner(s) obtains a title from a Department of Motor Vehicles as proof of ownership.
Mileage Inconsistency
If an odometer reading is less than a previous reading but CARFAX is uncertain whether the discrepancy is a rollback or a clerical
error, then CARFAX calls it a "Mileage Inconsistency". In this case, you should verify the mileage with your dealer or a qualified
mechanic.
New Owner Reported
When a vehicle is sold to a new owner, the Title must be transferred to the new owner(s) at a Department of Motor Vehicles.

I came from the worst car experience one could have and Brent Brown Toyota turned that it into a good

We've done a lot of research on the right car and right dealership before actually walking into one. Part
of which was the dealer rating online. This was the first and only place we went to before we purchased
our brand new Camry XLE Hybrid. We worked with Rocky Nelson, who made the experience easy, untroubling and enjoyable. Rocky was never pushy nor aggressive. He helped us come to the best decision
for us. Needless to say, we didn't need to go anywhere else and walked away excited about our purchase.

We had a great experience! John was very patient and provided all the options available. Rory was very
straightforward and helped us decide to protect our investment with the "Armadillo" package. Brian
made it all come together to get the financing and seal the deal for us. Overall, we would purchase
another car from these guys. They provided a wonderful experience without anyone being pushy.
Have a long relationship with both Lane Brown and Larry Terry. They are very professional and helpful. I
have bought several cars at this dealership and have been very happy with both sales staff and service

Gavin was extremely kind, truthful and just plainly easy to talk to. He treated me with a great deal of respect. I had went to
many other dealerships shopping for a cars used and not used, working to find the best prices obviously and value.
Even though I can't find Given’s name on here and it may be just because my mistake that I can't find it (he did say he was 4
months new), but regardless of what's up top, Gavin made me feel like I was important and that all and any time spent
working with me, though I am younger, he didn't just give me a pre-judgement like the Hyundai guy I talked to and others but
they were the worst by far because the jerk wouldn't stop checking out my fiancé, and ignored me, which was the one who
had the many to buy at that moment the vehicle, but he didn't care. Nor the other dealer ships as well.
THE LARGEST POINT I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT GAVEN THEN THE AT BRENT BROWN TOYOTA and reasons why I described the
other dealers that I spoke too besides Gavin with BRENT BROWN TOYOTA, WAS THAT THEY WERE NOTHING EVEN CLOSE TO
THE liars at the other dealerships and the Hyundai disrespectful pervert! Was that Given who even though was never to
selling, he knew the facts, he was honest with me because he treats people tactfully and respectfully.
He did each and everything the right and OPPOSITE or the way that the other dealers that I mentioned earlier, that were
terrible to me and disrespectful perverts towards my fiancé and I.
Gavin didn't but did do everything even by the book, as well as proving he was trustworthy, but when someone looks honest,
its a genetic feature, which is hard to find, Mr. Brent Brown, watch out for this guy, he is going to have the others jealous soon
because he simply sells the cars well and I am already recommending him to everyone and will need more of his cards soon.
He should be able to almost have dibs on customers because he even sells the car and has people desiring more than 3 cards
to recommend him.
Please watch out for this guy because he certainly makes sure your business looks EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL, and I saw the
other guys there. They looked like they were half the character and skill that Gavin had. And because of that him I am going to
fill out the other two of the places you offered me to rate your employee because he is just that good. And apparently it only
took him 4 months...
This guy has a lot of competition to deal with and he's better than them all. Who ever is over him, please watch out for this
guy, because I plan on staying with you Mr. Brent Brown and only that Toyota facility for life right now and I'm 19 going on to
become a pharmacist and kids who will need cars, but only if he's there honestly.
I know most of this because my father retired from his car business and now is in joint venture business with an extra
