Helicopter Tape / Surface Guard Tape
Surface Guard Tape is a clear protective film virtually invisible
to the naked eye and will protect any surface that is prone to
scratching, chipping and weathering. It has a semi–permanent
adhesive with a removable release liner and provides excellent
protection against ultra violet light, temperature extremes
and automotive solvents. Will not yellow over time. Made of
polyurethane material. Easy to trim. 0.2 mm thickness. 1”- 4”

Gaffers Tape / Dull Finish
The preferred choice of the pros! Dull Finish / Gaffers tape is a
vinyl–coated cloth, rather than a poly coated. Anybody who has
ever used Gaffers tape, in place of duct tape, never looks back.
This tape has a high quality adhesive that does not leave a sticky
residue when removed. It comes in 15 brilliant colours and has
many racing uses, including pit marking, emergency body and
fender repair and waterproofing. 2” by 60 yard rolls.

Environmental Protection Agency standard for portable fuel containers.
The perfect solution for mid–race refuelling, having been used at a number of MSA
governed historic endurance races over the last few years in the UK.
Each can is easy to use, with no spilling or mess. The clever neck design includes a spring
loaded valve that only releases fuel when the collar in compressed. The flow of fuel stops when
either the neck is released, or the fuel level reaches the breather tube in the neck.
It is also self–venting during operation and includes a seal in the neck which prevents
vapours from escaping. Each can holds 20 litres and takes approximately 75 seconds to empty.
Available in red, blue, white and orange.
Note: the size of the neck design means that it will only work with wide aperture filler necks.

Developed over a two-year period, the Aero Performer Surface Preparation Kit is a ground breaking innovation from Kleers, specifically
engineered to achieve maximum surface performance by reducing drag and the build up of foreign objects.
After studying the amount of debris: rubber, insects and general grime that is collected from the race-track, it became apparent that the
interruption in air-flow – albeit small in same cases – could cause drag or sometimes the loss of aerodynamic efficiency, especially if the
unwanted items were stuck to leading edges, splitters, wings, body panels and flat-floors. In addition, these objects would add weight to the
vehicle, particularly in long-distance events.
By using the kit’s Paint Cleaner and applying Kleers Aero Performer liquid using the colour-coded microfibre cloths, debris build up and
therefore drag is dramatically reduced on the treated areas. There are no visible signs of using the product once it has been applied.

PJ1 Trackbite
PJ1 Trackbite
PJ1 TrackBite, formerly known as VHT TrackBite or simply VHT,
is a custom formulated resin, typically black in color, used in drag
racing to either increase the traction of a car’s tires or as a sealer for
newly ground and/or resurfaced race tracks. It stays sticky for weeks,
has fire-retardant properties and is hydrophobic.
It is generally sprayed onto the track from either a 55-gallon
(208-liter) drum or 1 gallon, 2.5 litre and 15 litre plastic jug. It
has been used in professional racing since 1972. With the help of
Trackbite, a normal street surface can be prepped so well a drag car
can lift the front wheels off the ground.
It can also be sprayed from specialised spraying tanks. The
TrackBite that the NHRA uses, commercial “PJ1 TRACKBITE
CONCENTRATE” is yellowish in color and some (maybe all)
dragstrips dilute it with methanol for optimum effect. Trackbite
contains no petroleum distillates and is biodegradable when dry
History
The compound originated as a high temperature coating made for
NASA by the Sperex Corporation. VHT, a brand owned by Sperex,
began offering it for sale commercially. It was taken up by drag
racers, and Sperex soon began producing formulations specially
made for the sport. Sperex was purchased in 1989 by businessman
P. J. Harvey and is now part of PJH Brands.

PJ1 Track Spot Powdered Resin Traction Compound Aids in
traction and the removal of bald-spots from track surfaces
Low horsepower cars or cars with narrow tyres place their cars
in the same place on the starting line repeatedly. After many cars
leave the starting line from the same spot, the rubber is removed and
bare concrete begins to appear. If no care is taken to put the rubber
back on the bald spot, the area will become larger and elapsed times
will become slower. PJ1 TrackSpot is specially formulated to quickly
apply rubber to the track surface to reduce bald spots and elapsed
times.
