The prevalent labour market issue facing
the Algoma District is an aging & declining
workforce...over 20% of today’s workforce
is over 55.
The most discussed priority was the need to
attract more people and retain those that
current reside in the area–in particular
youth. This is easier said than done and any
attraction/retention strategy would have to
be multifaceted and include many partners.

Two 20 Week Intakes - 40 Registered & 30 Graduated
