Buddhism Is Not What You Think
Using examples from Buddhist teachers past and
present the text lays bare the very core of Buddhist
teachings. We will look at how we can see the
world in each moment rather than merely as what
we think, hope or fear it is. We will learn how we
can base our actions on reality rather than on longing and loathing of our hearts and minds. Also we
will look at Buddhist wisdom separate from eastern
cultural trappings.

witty and unbearably punny Julie Hise. She has
blessed Communiversity and our little chunk of
the world with ten years of service. Although
she has been dubbed the office manager many
of you will remember her as the funny brown
haired girl.
For my
part, she
has made
the job of
running
this crazy
program
entirely
bearable.
Behind the
humour is
a person
who is caring enough to actually act on what she believes
with a willingness to learn what is necessary to
make Communiversity the success story you all
love. Unfortunately she will no longer be working at Communiversity after June 30. I will miss
her enormously as a daily co-worker and friend.
With much love, gratitude and sadness, I must
say goodbye.
