!Team#which#has#enabled#over#200#athletes#to#compete#in#
#the#NY,#Boston#and#LA#Marathons#raising#over#$500,000
#allowing#more#than#20,000#children#to#go#through#the#
program.#
#In#2010,#less#than#10#months#after#receiving#an#Allogenic#
#Stem#Cell#Transplant#for#a#rare#form#of#Hodgkins#Lymphoma,#
#Ethan#captained#the#GRS#Marathon#Team#and#>inished#the#
#26.2#–mile#run#in#just#over#four#hours.#Unfortunately,#a#
#year#later#Ethan#learned#that#the#cancer#had#returned.#
#Once#again,#Ethan#rose#to#the#occasion#and#decided#to#
#run#the#2011#NYC#Marathon#while#undergoing#chemotherapy#
#and#>inished#in#4#hr#&#20#minutes.#In#2012,#Ethan#
#underwent#a#second#stem#cell#transplant#and#like#
#clockwork,#10#months#later#laced#up#his#running#shoes#to#
#run#the#2013#Boston#Marathon,#but#was#unable#to#>inish#
#due#to#the#tragic#bombings#that#took#place#in#his#
#hometown.##
#In#the#summer#of#2010,#Ethan#and#Grassroot#Soccer#
#teamed#up#with#the#(RED)#Campaign#to#bring#Soccer#
#Skillz#Camps#to#children#in#South#Africa#during#the#highly#

#In#the#fall#of#2011,#after#20#months#of#being#in#remission,#
