BUILDING
OPPORTUNITIES
We are the union of Cementos Lima and Cemento Andino.
For over 60 years we have contributed to the development
of the country's infrastructure, supplying high quality
cements and services, taking care of the environment and
giving back to our community.
We have two industrial plants:
Atocongo Plant (Villa María del Triunfo, Lima).
Condorcocha Plant (La Unión Leticia, Tarma, Junín).
UNACEM CONDORCOCHA PLANT - TARMA
(a 3,900 m.s.n.m.)
OUR PRODUCTS
ANDINO CEMENT TYPE I
Portland Cement Type I.
NTP: 334.009 and ASTM: C-150.
Provides greater resistance to compression as concrete
grows older, having reported mortar assays that after
90 days exceed 414.8 Kg/cm2.
Recommended for structures and finishes in buildings
in general.
SOL CEMENT
Portland Cement Type I.
NTP: 334.009 and ASTM: C-150.
Used in concrete for many different
applications and preferred by its good
development of resistance to compression at
an early period. Furthermore, it has an
adequate set time.
PRODUCTS
APU CEMENT
Portland Cement Type GU.
NTP 334.082 and ASTM C-1157.
Develops good resistance to compression and workability.
Recommended for all kinds of work that do not require special
characteristics or do not specify any other kind of cement.
ANDINO CEMENT TYPE V
Portland Cement Type V.
NTP: 334.009 and ASTM: C-150.
Mostly used in works where high sulfate-resistant
concrete is required. Also in port works where concrete
is exposed to seawaters, on saline and wet soils, pools
and aqueducts, sewer pipes, canals and buildings
exposed to chemicals.
ATLAS CEMENT
Portland Pozzolanic Cement Type IP.
NTP: 334.090 and ASTM C-595.
Contains an average of 22% pozzolans
in the cement mix.
It produces more plastic and water-resistant
concrete, allowing for less heat of hydration.
ANDINO CEMENT TYPE IP
Portland Pozzolanic Cement Type IP.
NTP: 334.090 and ASTM C-595.
Contains 23% of pozzolans in the cement mix.
It produces more plastic and water-resistant
concrete, allowing for less heat of hydration.
PRODUCTS
ANDINO CEMENT TYPE IPM
Portland Pozzolanic Cement Type I(PM).
NTP 334.090 and ASTM C-595.
Contains 20% of pozzolans in the cement mix.
Recommended for general use. It produces more plastic
and water-resistant concrete, allowing for less heat of
hydration.
Our production process follows the highest quality standards

OUR SERVICES
We sell our cements through the Hardware Stores
Network Progre-Sol and distributors in the provinces.
We have more than 270 Progre-Sol stores and over 40
distributors.

Duravía is a solution for road construction in
concrete, as compared to the traditional asphalt
road networks. It offers longer lasting life, greater
safety and a more cost-efficient option over time.

COMMITTED TO THE
DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNTRY
INFRASTRUCTURE
National Infrastructure:
For more than 60 years we have
contributed to the development of the
country's infrastructure, supplying
high-quality cements and services.
The National Stadium and the Paseo de la
República Expressway were built with
our cements.
Social infrastructure :
As part of our Social Responsibility
towards the communities and society,
we contribute to the development of
Social Infrastructure.
In 2013, we built and remodeled more
than 100 works in Lima and Tarma and
we donated more than 50,000 bags of
cement.
The sports platform I.E. Nº7101 Corporativa
América; San Camilo Dining Room and the
school I.E La Buena Esperanza, were built
with our cements.
INFRASTRUCTURE
“We are an important development generator in the country. We
feel very proud that the most important infrastructure of our
country has been built with our cements”.
Works for Taxes:
Under the "Works for Taxes"
mechanism, we financed and
executed:
Rehabilitation of the 2nd
section of Av. Chosica,
Chosica, Lurigancho –
Lima.
Consortium formed by the
following companies:
UNACEM, UNICON,
PETRAMAS and FITESA.
Construction of the Unión
Tarma Market, Tarma –
Junín.
Project in progress.
The rehabilitation of the 2nd section of
Av. Chosica, Lurigancho, Lima, was
built with our cement.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Some of these initiatives are:
Change of energy grid from
coal to natural gas at our
Atocongo plant, which reduced
more than 100,000 tons per
year of CO2 in the production
of clinker and cement.
Clean energy supply: through
the Hydroelectrical Plants
El Platanal and Carpapata
I and II.
Modernization of the
Atocongo plant and
incorporation of modern and
efficient technology in the
Condorcocha plant (IV line of
production).
Manufacturing of blended
cements: The production of
blended cements (Apu, Andino
Cement Type IP, IPM) requires
less clinker in its composition,
thus, less fuel in the process.
In this way, we reduce the
emission of gases to the
environment.
Implementation of
wastewater treatment plants
for reuse in landscape
irrigation and the firefighting
system at the Atocongo Plant.
ENVIRONMENT
“At UNACEM we work out initiatives that seek eco-efficiency.
We are also committed to mitigatingthe effects
of climate change.”
Use of conveyor belts for
material, which reduce the
emission of fine material in
our production process. We
must mention the 8.2 km
underground conveyor belt
that carries inputs and export
cement to and from the
Atocongo plant and the
pier in Conchán.
Raising awareness of our
employees: we conduct
internal campaigns such as
"Plant a tree, save a life", "The
hour of the planet", "Efficient
use of resources" and others.
