School Construction Update - Riverside County Office of Education
A
School Construction Update
2015-2016
n important part of our county’s educational infrastructure is school facilities. With our dynamic
student enrollment and aging facilities, there is an ongoing need for school construction. Many
of our school districts either have schools currently under construction or have completed construction
projects during the past 12 months. Funds to construct and equip these projects come from four
primary sources: bonds from the State School Building Program, local general obligation bonds,
development fees assessed on new construction, and financing at the local level.
