Nestled on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors,
in some of the area’s most beautiful countryside, is

Malton is the local area’s commercial and
retail centre, with small traditional independent
shops and high street names sitting comfortably
alongside the market place – with its reputation
as friendly and convenient meeting area, with a
number of coffee bars and cafés opening all day to
complement the public houses.
With its own bus station and railway station, and
excellent surrounding road network, Malton is
conveniently placed for those who want to travel a
little further afield.
York is around 18 miles away to the South West
along the A64 – and the coastal resort of
Scarborough in less than half an hour in the
opposite direction. A Northern train service
operates to the Spa town of Harrogate, home of
the famous Great Yorkshire Show and renowned
tearooms. By car, it is just over an hour’s drive
away.
