What is the Camp Cedarbrook in the Adirondacks experience?
Set on its own private lake in the Adirondack Mountains, this
non-denominational Christian camp for girls is a warm and
accepting environment where girls make new friends, try
new activities, explore the wonders of nature, and gain the
spiritual grounding to become confident, godly women.

Summer Camp
Special Opportunities
Campers experience faith, friends, and fun in
an intentional Christian community designed
just for them. Girls finished grades 2–11
take part in daily Bible exploration, fun and
challenging activities, evening campfires,
and more. Through every activity and event
of the day, campers learn to follow Jesus in
every aspect of their lives.
Camper Divisions
Two-Week Experience (Weeks 4–5)
Our Facilities
Dive deeper into camp with a specially
designed two-week session. Campers will
enjoy more activity opportunities, wilderness
overnight trips, and deeper relationships
with cabinmates and counselors, living in the
same cabin group for two weeks. Activities
and special events will continue throughout
the weekend—no additional stay-over
fee. The Two-Week Experience culminates
with an end-of-summer celebration! (For
Horsemanship, choose one or both weeks.)
Activity Classes
Campers live in groups according to grade
with other girls and a counselor:
Voyagers finished grade 2
Pathfinders finished grades 3–4
Trailblazers finished grades 5–6
Challengers finished grades 7–8
Explorers finished grades 9–11
500 acres of Adirondack forest land featuring
● a private 45-acre lake
● cabins for younger campers
● platform tents for older campers
● nearby washhouses with electricity, hot
water, and flush toilets
● indoor facilities give the feeling of being
outdoors
Health and Safety
Campers are closely supervised by welltrained staff members throughout their stay
to ensure their safety and well-being. The
daily schedule is designed for adequate rest.
Campers choose activities on arrival.
Classes feature non-competitive skill-based
instruction in nationally recognized programs
that integrate faith and fun.

Equestrian Camp (Week 1)
For Trailblazers with advanced skills,
Challengers, and Explorers. Campers
learn more about horses and strengthen
skills, culminating with a Saturday morning
presentation for families. Limited space.
Wilderness Trips
Backpack and canoe trips of 2–5 days in the
Adirondacks provide challenges within the
reach of the average, healthy camper.

Two-Week Experience (Weeks 4–5)
Fun with Horses (Weeks 2–5)
For Voyagers and Pathfinders. Learn about
horses, their care, grooming, and equipment,
and ride a horse on a lead on the last day.
Horsemanship (Weeks 2–5)
For Trailblazers, Challengers, and
Explorers. English-style class instruction
from Beginner–Advanced. Classes assigned
on ability and experience. Limited space.
Service Crews
Explorers (age 14 or older) serve God and
others as groom aides and kitchen aides.
No camp fees charged, no remuneration. No
transport discount. NYS work permit required.

Camper in Leadership Training
CILT is a two-year leadership program
for Explorers who are age 16 and have
completed grade 10.
● CILT 1 must attend Weeks 4 and 5.
● CILT 2 must attend June 26–Week 3.
Parent/Daughter Sessions
Girls finished grades 1–11 enjoy a time of
fun activities and make lasting memories
with their mothers and grandmothers or
their fathers and grandfathers.

To make the camp experience available to all, each
family may select the tier that best fits its income.
A camper’s experience is in no way affected by
the tier chosen. The tiered structure offers the
opportunity for families to take an active role
in supporting the true cost of their child’s camp
experience. Camp Cedarbrook subsidizes its total
expenses through the contributions of its donors.
