Fertilising at the correct time
Heavily stressed lawns need that early fertiliser in the spring.
For this purpose the E + S winter application spreader can be converted
with little effort into a spreader for granular fertiliser giving a very good
lateral and longitudinal distribution and excellent work rates.
Applying sand at regular intervals
The regular application of sand in smaller quantities keeps the structure
of the lawn open and thus porous for water, nutrients and air.
Without any alterations, the AMAZONE E + S spreader becomes the perfect machine for applying sand. The sand is evenly incorporated into the
lawn with no additional sweeping or raising of the blades of grass.
Spreading red ash on hard court surfaces
After intervals of two to three years sports field red ash should be freshly
applied on to hard courts.
With the AMAZONE E + S spreader the ash is evenly distributed to level
out undulations and to prevent the coarse sub layer from coming up.

Standard features of the E + S
include:
• Steep hopper walls for optimum flow of the
spreading material
• Strong protective sieve inside the hopper
• 3-point linkage; both Cat. I and Cat. II,
easily coupled to the tractor
• Important parts such as the entire bottom
assembly, spread pattern limiter, spreading disc
and spreading blades are made from stainless steel
• Large adjustable aperture for accurate spread rates
• Spreader available from choice in green, orange or
individually specified RAL colours
• Extremely robust catholytic, stove baked enamelling
increases the life span of the spreader (car industry standard)
• The E + S is available in two basic hopper sizes of 300 litres
and 750 litres, extendable, if required, with bolt on extensions
up to 1000 litres capacity (see technical data).
More comfort, more control
The drive
The new AMADOS E+S
simplifies and improves
the operation through
several additional functions. A more accurate
control of the spread
rate now becomes possible with its forward
speed related spreading. In addition, the in-cab spread limiter control enables
an infinitely variable adjustment to different working
widths whereby the AMADOS E+S automatically
adapts the spread rate to the working width. For each
individually selected job the area worked, the distance
travelled and the quantity applied are shown on the
display. In addition, the total worked area for all jobs
can be documented.
The flexible drive concept, from choice, via either
PTO shaft or hydraulic motor, enables many operational applications.
With these new functions, the AMADOS E+S electronic
regulation results in an additional improvement of the
spreading accuracy and relevant spreading material
savings.
E + SH: drive via a hydraulic motor allows, for instance, operation
behind a wheel loader.

AMAZONE EK-S spreader
Reliable and value for money
The AMAZONE EK-S single disc spreader is the
perfect tool for applying small to medium amounts
of spreading material for thawing and assisting grip
when involved in winter application. Its single-handed
operation allows the quick opening and closing of the
shutter slide. The spread width can be manually
adjusted via the spread width limiter.
The EK-S is available for 3-point mounting to compact tractors, for fitting to towing vehicles which are
provided with a hydraulic drive and also with a trailed
chassis.
The EK-S and the EK-SH are available in 3 sizes:
150, 260 and 370 litres capacity.

AMAZONE now has a fertiliser spreading hall that
is even more modern.
It is now possible using the new on-line weigh cells
to analyse not only the lateral distribution but also the
spatial distribution of every spreading test. This had
enormous benefits for developing new fertiliser
spreaders.
AMAZONE has also opted for the new innovative
technology for the chosen measuring system. The
fertiliser spreader now stands on a rotating platform
and rotates around a vertical axis. With this measuring system, all conceivable working widths can be
determined at any given time.
