November 30, the same day many of us will be returning from the Thanksgiving Cruise. Please come down and help
decorate the Club for the holidays.
Monday night Football is here. There are four of them in November, so come on down to the Club, enjoy some hot dogs,
burgers or other delicious food and enjoy the game among friends.
I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank each member and their significant other who served under the

We Now Have Six Draft Beers!
Officer Of the Deck Assignments
Brought to you by Phil Novodvorsky, OD Coordinator
Three new beers arrived recently for a better
mix of draft beer available for you.
Coors Light $3 – Highly Requested
Blue Moon $4 – Belgian White, with Citrus
Ballast Point Sculpin IPA $5 – A Hoppy beer, but
on the light side
Budweiser, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and Dos XX will round out our stable of beers for now. Enjoy
these beers as we test these looking for the
right mix of beverages for you. Any suggestions
are welcome, e-mail Bar Captain Bill Hodge at
[email protected]. Bud Light is now
available in bottles. Some of you will be
disappointed we replaced the draft version.
However, the smallest keg of Bud Light is a
quarter keg (90 pounds-it almost weighs as
much as some of our bartenders) and took up
the same cooler space as the three new 1/5
kegs.
Next time you're at the club, check out our new
beers and let me know what you think. Cheers!

2014 Holiday Giving Program
The Organization: Orangewood Children’s Foundation.
Orangewoods Mission is to provide life changing prevention and intervention programs for abused and neglected children,
young adults, and at risk families through one-on-one support and community partnerships to end the cycle of child abuse.
Orangewood is a private, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization established in 1981.
2013/2014 Accomplishments:
Scholarships totaling $749,000 to 272 young adults for college or trade school. These students attended 88 schools in
15 states throughout the U.S.
Assistance in our resource center to 618 youth in a total of over 5,500 visits.
Workshops and seminars to prepare 400 foster teens for emancipation
Transitional housing to a total of 38 former foster youth, including 11 mothers (and their 18 children).
Support services to 7,700 families at Family Resource Centers.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
1. For the Children’s Holiday Party: Contribute NEW
books for ages between 1 and 18. Our hope is that
the children who attend the holiday party would
buy and bring a copy of one of their favorite books
as a gift for these children.
2. For the general membership: Purchase gift cards
ranging in value from $10 to $25 each to the
following merchants: Target, Wal-Mart, Best Buy,
Ralphs, Albertsons or Ross. Please include a
receipt for the card, or somehow indicate the
card’s value.
3. Check with your employer to see if they provide
matching funds for your contributions.
BRING YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE CLUB.
