Exhibition list of works - Art Gallery of South Australia
catalog u e of works
The following checklist lists all the works included
in the exhibition and is presented in alphabetical order.
Measurements are given in centimetres, height before width.
Provenance information is given where known, with reference
to Lugt, the standard catalogue for collectors’ marks, if a mark
appears on the work. Standard catalogue raisonné references
for the works have been included, where these exist. The
abbreviation ‘B’ refers to Adam Bartsch, Le Peintre Graveur,
Leipzig, 1854–76, followed by the volume number, page
number and catalogue number. Therefore, B.XVIII.192.17 is
Bartsch vol. 18, p. 192, no. 17. For prints that exist in more
than one state, the state of the impression is listed, for example,
ii/iv meaning second state of four.
