DO YOU KASASA?
W
e are very excited to launch Kasasa at C-Plant Federal Credit Union.
Kasasa is a national brand of free checking and savings accounts that
rewards consumers with what they want most—high interest, cash back,
automatic savings and digital downloads from iTunes or Amazon.com.
Our Kasasa accounts are free checking accounts with no monthly service
fee, no minimum balance to earn rewards or maintain an account, online banking and free ATMs
nationwide (so any ATM can be a C-Plant Federal Credit Union ATM).
We are able to offer our members meaningful rewards, like an interest rate of 2.00% APY, because
we ask members to do a couple simple things that they are likely already doing (like access online
banking or use their debit card a certain number of times). Those things save our institution
money and we in turn pass those savings along to members in the forms of high interest, cash
back and automatic savings. Members win at C-Plant Federal Credit Union with Kasasa; they get
completely free checking accounts with meaningful rewards, as well our amazing personalized
service. We are excited to give back to our members with our new Kasasa accounts and encourage
you to stop in branch or visit us online to learn more!

PROTECT YOURSELF FROM
DEBIT & CREDIT CARD FRAUD
E
ven if your debit or credit
card never leaves your
sight, you could still be a
victim of fraud. Members
need to be prepared to
act quickly to minimize damage. We
encourage you to keep a close eye on your
account for suspicious activity with recent
Retail Data Breaches. These breaches
have not occurred because of anything
you or your credit union have done.
Please understand that your cardholder
information may be at risk whomever you
choose to bank with or the credit card
provider you choose.
How do I avoid becoming a
victim of fraud?
We suggest that you do the following:
R5 Check your credit union statements
immediately. Make sure all payments
are yours
R5 Contact us immediately if your card is
lost, stolen, or subject to fraudulent use.
R5 Memorize your PIN and never share
with others.
PERIODICALLY CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT
BALANCE & TRANSACTIONS, BY UTILIZING:
UÊ ˜ÌiÀ˜iÌÊ>˜Žˆ˜}
UÊ œLˆiÊ>˜Žˆ˜}
UÊ 6œˆViÊ,i뜘ÃiÊ/ii«…œ˜iÊ>˜Žˆ˜}®
R5 Keep your receipts.
R5 Cross out all spaces on debit slips, such
as the tip line so amount cannot be
changed.
R5 Do not use an ATM if it looks
suspicious; it could be a skimming
device.
R5 Do not give your PIN to anyone over
the phone.
If you ever have any questions or
concerns, contact our Card Services
Department at 270-450-7023 or 270-4507241 or 270-554-0287 option 4.
