Day 1
You will be welcomed to Africa by your Tour Host at OR Tambo International Airport, and transferred to the
elegant Hotel in Rosebank. This luxurious hotel is located at the heart of the pulsating commercial capital of South
Africa. The rest of the day is at leisure. Sample some of South Africa’s sophisticated cuisine at the many excellent
restaurants on Rosebank Mall or catch the high speed Gautrain To Sandton Square and visit the famous Mandela Statue.
Day 2 and 3
After breakfast we drive to the amazing entertainment resort of SUN CITY, for two wonderful days. Enjoy the Resort
Facilities, Restaurants and Bars, Casino, Extravaganzas, Gaming & Shopping, Golf at the Gary Player Golf Course,
Parasailing and water-skiing, horse riding, mountain biking, jogging, squash, tennis, and health Spa.

Day 4
Depart for Mpumalanga, "Where the sun rises." This is true paradise country - mountains, panoramic passes, valleys,
rivers, waterfalls and forests characterize the landscape. We stop in the trout fishing capital of South Africa, Dullstroom,
for lunch.

Day 5
A full day tour exploring the Lisbon Falls, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, and the Three Rondawels in the Blyde River
Canyon Nature Reserve. Then on to Pilgrims’ Rest for lunch at the charming Royal Hotel. Spend the afternoon with
your Tour Host exploring this fascinating mining town where the richest alluvial gold deposits in South Africa were
discovered in 1873.

Day 6
Depart for the world renowned Sabi Sands private Game Reserve for a safari of a lifetime. En-route visit SHANGANA
CULTURAL VILLAGE and experience the Shangaan culture with a visit to the Chief’s Kraal (village) and have a
traditional lunch with him and his family.Afternoon turns golden and is then swallowed by darkness as our first sunset
safari continues into the night. Guided by your personal qualified ranger and skilled Shangaan tracker, you will be
shown all the natural wonders of Sabi Sands. Enjoy sundowners in the bush and experience the hush that settles on the
bushveld for just a moment as diurnal changes guard with nocturnal.

Day 7
Your Tour Host will get you up early for a sunrise safari in an open game drive vehicle. You have the chance of seeing
the Big Five – leopard, lion, rhino, elephant and buffalo - plus the graceful impala, dazzling zebra, giraffe and other
unique African game will also be encountered.
Learn about the lowveld birds, animals and plant life in and around the lodge as well as how to track animals on an
optional guided bushwalk.
Another wonderful evening game drive. The ranger will stop for sundowners before heading into the night and to an
unforgettable Bush Braai (barbecue) out in the wilds of the African veld. You may be lucky enough to see the
inquisitive hyenas lurking about in the shadows cast by the roaring log fire!

Day 8
After breakfast depart with your Safaris Host for your flight to Cape Town from Mpumalanga Kruger International
Airport, Nelspruit. Spend the afternoon at leisure, then climb aboard for a Sundowner Cruise to Hout Bay and sip
champagne as the sun sets!

Day 9
Ascend the 1000m high sandstone bastion guarding Cape Town, Table Mountain, which affords unspoiled panoramic
views of Table Bay and Robben island. Come into close contact with some species of the famed flower kingdom –
"Fynbos" - the natural vegetation which is found in the Western Cape.
Then we board the Makana for a memorable and thought provoking visit to Robben Island and a visit to Nelson
Mandela’s old cell – his place of confinement for nearly 19 years.
This evening all expectations are exceeded as the African Feast takes you on a journey through tastes, textures and
stories of Africa in the intimacy of the Lavender Hill kitchen. Savour the experience of a ten-course dinner accompanied
by superb South African wines and authentic entertainment.

Ask your Tour Host for suggestions to spend the day at leisure to take in the sights,
or stroll around the V & A Waterfront. Depart out of Cape Town for your flight home having seen South Africa in a
snapshot.
