Are you looking to meet new people, give your children a chance to run and play with other children? Join FSCA staff for some fun each week a new park in a different area of the city, a great way to get to know the city! This program starts Wednesday May 25th and runs every week from 9:30­11:30. (museum and cultural center) is a log house with a sod roof, a replica of a 18th century farmhouse from the Numedal district in Norway. They are located in heritage square, behind the recreation center and south of the Red Deer Museum & Art Gallery. ​

Innisfail and District Historical Village​
is located on 52 Avenue and 42 Street (1 block west of the Hospital, between the local schools and Aquatic Center). It originated in 1970 with the purpose of preserving and housing the history of the Innisfail district. The Village is made up of eighteen buildings, displayed on 2 acres of land. These are furnished to interpret the history of the area up to the 1930s. There is a large display of farm machinery and a day use picnic area. Cost: Admission is $3.00 per person or $15 per family. Children under 5 are free! Rocky Mountain House National Historic Site​

The trappers and traders who lived at Rocky Mountain House 200 years ago wish they had all the activities waiting for you to enjoy. Hike interpretive trails, take photos of the bison herd or try on period costumes in the exhibit gallery. Learn to make bannock, traditional games and dream catchers or picnic near the play fort. Bring the school to experience age specific programs. Sit under the stars before fading to sleep in a Métis Trappers tent. ​
