stopping and spacing of components and assemblies.
Using atmospheric air as the damping medium
Woerner Damped stops can be precisely tuned to suit
any load and situation.
Available in stopping force values from 1 kg up to a few
tonnes, these compact and adaptable units are simply
incorporated in both existing and new equipment.
Units can be both single and double acting, damped
and undamped.
Units can be grouped to provide for queuing and
there are anti- bounce variants.

A comprehensive range of position and presence
sensing accessories allow simple interfacing with
digital controls
Damping values can be simply adjusted
The hysteresis tension control brakes and clutches
together with the ERM control unit, provide exact
control of tensile forces in manufacturing of endless
products such as wire, cable, paper and foil.
The non-contact, continuously variable torque
transmission results in wear and maintenance free
operation.
We can supply a full range of replacement brakes
and clutches – electromagnetic, permanent magnet,
multiple disc, single disc, toothed from original and
equivalent manufacturers when the originals are no
longer available.
Spare discs and current supply brushes are also
supplied.

Spindle Drives
Metal Bellows Couplings offer precise transmission
of motion and torque. They are designed for highly
dynamic servo applications to compensate for shaft
misalignment and are torsionally stiff and maintenance
free.
The range of compact, classic safety couplings
provide precise overload protection for direct and
indirect drives.
We provide planetary and right angle gearboxes for virtually any general purpose
or servo drive application.
Servomax Elastomer Couplings eliminate vibrations,
are electrically insulating and provide an economical,
easy to use solution to shaft misalignment.
Fixed and adjustable length line shafts are available
up to 6 metres in length. Ideal for transmitting motion
and torque over long distances such as in screw jack
lift systems.
