Penny Avery – Afrobics
supported by Kenzi Ireland
Vandna’s background as a Psychologist stems from a diverse and exciting
family background. Born and raised in the East end of London to Hindu,
East African-Indian Parents and middle child of six siblings. Her main focus
is on empowering individuals to discover their aspirations and reach their
true potential. Chanting is a great way to find balance and connect with the
divine. It alters the consciousness and raises the psychic power. It harmonises
the physical, emotional and intellectual forces. This harmony makes people
feel fulfilled. Chanting enhances our spirituality by letting us transcend to
higher spiritual thoughts. Chanting enhances our good virtues, by eliminating
negative thoughts. We can thus enjoy whatever we do and achieve success
easily. It helps control our mind and emotions.
Penny is co-founder of ‘Tolo ko Tolo’, specialising in contemporary African
Dance Choreography and hip hop. Her style is dynamic and vibrant, her
passion for dance unmistakeable. Penny has worldwide experience teaching
and performing. In 2008 Penny was a solo dancer for Kanye West as part
of the live MTV awards show. Afrobics is an exciting combination of dance
moves that blends African, street, and caribbean dance to create a vibrant
energetic class. The music crosses African beats, funk and RnB which
altogether brings a vibey, fun class that gets you learning great new moves.

Healing Area
When you’re in need of some revitalising rejuvenation head
over to our healing area where you can chill out in the sauna
or book in a session with our lovely therapists.
Relax and Rejuvinate with Helen Baddon
As a therapist I believe that I am a catalyst to kick-start your own body’s
natural healing process. An optimum state of deep relaxation is created
using many techniques such as reflexology, Swedish full body, warm bamboo
massage, Indian head massage, bellabaci (cupping), and ear candling. One
or all of these techniques are combined in an intuitive and comprehensive
treatment creating a richer sense of well-being and restoring your natural
balance.
Healing with Tracy Wilcox
Her career as a Physiotherapist taught her much about human pain, both
physical and emotional working for many years with children with life limiting
conditions. She knew that stress had an adverse affect on the quality of
many lives from a health and emotional well being point of view. After
Many years of intuitive healing, trance mediumship and psychic mediumship
development she knew it was time to embrace the nature of the human mind
and consciousness into her skills.
Qualifications in Psychotherapy, Clinical Hypnotherapy,
Psychoneuroimmunology, Acupuncture and Addiction Management took
her to Peru. Here she works with Psychiatrists providing integrative care for
people with complex mental health issues whilst also supporting clients in
the UK. Her business is based in Weston Super Mare being largely directed
towards Psychospiritual Mentoring, and supporting a population who
are rapidly becoming aware of how our perception of life influences our
wellbeing.
Colin & Olive of Satyagraha Gongs
Individual Gong Bath Relaxation Sessions.
The individual gong bath, as we facilitate it, is a unique and potentially
profound experience which is variously described as relaxing, energising,
exhilarating, rejuvenating and uplifting. It is a very effective way of
stimulating the natural good feeling of the body and most often leaves
the recipient grounded with an indisputable sense of well-being. The
experience is often likened to ‘being massaged all over’ by those who are
sensitive as they feel their skin tingle and deeper sensations as the waves of
sound vibrate through the body and trigger a tangible release of tensions.
Often during a gong bath the deepest sense of rest and rejuvenation is
achieved. Since being initiated in the use of the gong through training with
Gongmaster Don Conreaux eleven years ago, introducing people to the
phenomenon of the gong has been our full time occupation.
Shiatsu sessions with Aurore and Heather
Aurore and Heather offer shiatsu sessions in a beautiful bell tent. Shiatsu is an
amazing bodywork therapy which works with both the physical and energy
system of the body. Profoundly healing, people often experience deep
relaxation and a sense of having been physically met and seen at a soul level.
Aurore and Heather are passionate about shiatsu and love connecting with
people through deep awareness, intuition and sensitivity. They love working
together, creating a cosy space, inviting people to pause and connect with
their body. Their synergy combined with the tranquility and sacredness of
the tent is tangible and in itself provides a powerful healing space. They look
forward to welcoming you for a 30 minute or 1 hour Shiatsu treatment.
