HPC offers three storage formats. Our innovative slotted key tag design allows for uniform storage and a
quick visual inspection for missing keys. The convenient 2-Tag format provides for storage of 2 key tags on
each hook, keeping the original key in the cabinet. The plain hook in the space-saving SlimKab™ line allows

These Out Tags are used to

key and when it is due back.
They are printed on yellow
card stock.
There are many locking
options available, including
master-keyed, dual-control,
keyed-alike, electronic digital
lock, 4-wheel combination
lock and using your own
mortise cylinder. Most
cabinets are secured with a
5-wafer, key-retaining cam
lock. The 260X-, 500- and
730-key cabinets use a 7-pin
tubular T-handle lock.
When your key control needs grow, so can your

Specialty Locking KeKabs
Keyable KeKab®
HPC’s Keyable KeKab® series eliminates the problem of
how to control the key to the key cabinet. This HPC
exclusive line of cabinets allows you to add your
own mortise cylinder and key it into existing
master key systems. The Keyable KeKabs are equipped
with a heavy-duty lock assembly and are designed to
use standard 1" mortise cylinders with an Adams
Rite cam. Longer cylinders can be accommodated by using
spacer rings. The mortise cylinder, keys and spacer rings are
not supplied with this cabinet. Add convenience and security
to the storage of your keys with HPC's Keyable KeKabs.

HPC's Digital KeKab® series provides intelligent features
including: 2 levels of access, instant
re-programming, usage indicator and automatic
lock-out. These units are battery operated and require no
wiring or central processors. The locks run on two 9-volt
alkaline batteries. A battery indicator warns when batteries
are low and special jumper ports allow access of external
power in the event of battery failure. With its all metal
construction, your HPC Digital KeKab® is built to last.

keyless locking option for organizing keys. The 4-wheel
lock combination has 10,000 available combinations
and a key override, included. The mechanical lock comes
with a decoding pin and the combination can be easily
changed when necessary. Just like the rest of HPC’s KeKab®
line, the cabinet is made of heavy-gauge steel and finished
with powder textured paint in neutral sand color. The 4-Wheel

The SlimKab™ series is an economical
line of key control cabinets, with a
capacity of 15 to 90 keys. The cabinets
are made of heavy-gauge steel and come
equipped with a 5-wafer cam lock. They are
painted in a neutral sand color. The hooks for the
tags are a single prong style (made for standard
rings). This enables you to use any key ring in
the SlimKabs. Cabinets come with numbered
plastic clover leaf tags for easy identification.
Peg Board KeKab®
The Peg Board KeKab® is designed to secure your
supply of key blanks. If you use restricted or controlled
key blanks or expensive transponder blanks protect your
investment by keeping them secure in this cabinet. It is
supplied with 24 hooks to accommodate a wide assortment of
blanks. The use of peg board on the interior wall allows you to
arrange the hooks to fit your requirements. The customdesigned hooks also will prevent the keys from falling off
when the cabinet is installed in your mobile shop. The Peg

Two-Tag KeKab® Series
HPC’s Two-Tag KeKab® Key Cabinets provide storage for 30 to 500 keys.
The hooks in these cabinets hold two tags. The red tag is for the “permanent” key and is
designed to remain in the cabinet (except for when used in an emergency or to make a new
duplicate). The white tag is for the “loaner” key and is used when issuing keys.
The smaller sizes are perfect for apartments and small businesses. The larger sizes have

These tags offer a quick visual method of
controlling key blank inventory. Simply hang
these bright yellow tags directly on the hook in front of
your determined “order point”. They are printed in black
and red on heavy card stock with a metal grommet.

HPC’s Large Key Rings are made of half-hard
steel. The threaded fastener screws either to the left or
the right, allowing access on both sides of the ring.
The 11" (27.94cm) ring slips over your head easily for
carrying around the neck and will hold about 260 keys.

HPC’s Give-Away Key Rings are manufactured
from hardened .0475" (1.21mm) diameter
spring steel wire. They are bright zinc plated to

plus it offers the best security for temporary storage of

placed over the top edge of the door. When
the door is closed, the top mounting screws are

a sturdy piano hinged door. It is made of
