But hearing loss not only affects the child. Hearing loss affects the en0re family. Young Ears Family Support is here to support family members of children with hearing loss. Who is this service for? This service is designed for all family members of children with hearing loss, including anyone who plays a significant role in the child's life, including, but not limited to parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, teachers, family friends, cousins etc etc. What will this service offer me? Here, you will be able to access educa'onal material, resources for skill development, and online support groups where you can connect with other family members of children with hearing loss. Importantly, family members will be able to log onto this online plaKorm to directly par'cipate in habilita'on. What online service would you like to access? Worldwide, it is recommended that health professionals take into account the need of the en're family so they become partners in habilita'on.
