Michel Herbelin has passed his passion for the brand to his sons and grandchildren, who plays a major role in
the product range development – from sketching out to manufacturing. Reliability, precision and elegance is the
foundation of this charismatic brand.
• Movements
- Swiss quartz movements
- Swiss automatic movements: ETA, Valjoux and Sellita
• Water resistance
- The maximum water resistance is engraved on each case back (from 50 to 1000 meters).
When there is no mention of depth, the watch is water resistant to 30 meters.
- Double gasket crowns, screwed-down crowns (identified by a symbol on the case back) and screwed-down pushers on the Newport range.
- 50 meters = swimming
- 100 and 200 meters = diving and water sports
- Water resistance is systematically checked on each watch after manufacture.
• The materials
- 316L stainless steel quality
- Gold coating: PVD High Grade 2N and 5N for optimised resistance
- Blue and black coatings: Titanium PVD High Grade
- Sapphire crystal
- Stones are all hand-set using top quality zircons, except when indicated i.e. diamonds
- When diamonds are used they are Top Wesselton VS quality diamonds (extra white +)
