A New Hospital
and a New Name!
St. Elizabeth Hospital
We are pleased to announce that we have a new name for Enumclaw’s replacement
hospital — St. Elizabeth Hospital. Until the new hospital opens on February 2, 2011,
we will continue as Enumclaw Regional Hospital, serving patients living and working
on the Plateau.

The new hospital’s namesake is St.
Elizabeth of Hungary, a Catholic patron
saint of nurses, hospitals and charities.
She is also known to have founded a
Franciscan hospital at the base of a
mountain in Europe.

St. Elizabeth Hospital is striving to become
Washington’s first LEED (Leadership in
Energy and Environmental Design)certified hospital, thanks to environmentfriendly “green” features like sustainable building materials,
non-toxic paint, energy-efficient mechanical systems and
low-flow plumbing fixtures.
