Welcome to the ZCSD June 2016
newsletter.
Our beloved club turned 25 years old.
That its not an easy task so we all
should be proud!!!.
Thank to all the members that year after year give this awesome club their
support and dedication. Thanks to all
that had serve as presidents and board
members for their hard work, time and
dedication. I’m so honor to belong to
the best Z car club in California .
The Motorsports Z Bash was great.
Some of us caravanned to the Anaheim
Stadium and joined hundreds of Z car
from all over Ca and other states.
The Club celebrated our 25th Anniversary with our traditional picnic and car
show in the beautiful Santee Lakes.
Food was provided by The San Diego
Taco company and their awesome restaurant Salud. Our friend Douglas Tahuite from Performance Tuner Magazine donated his time and took some
nice photographs of the cars and the
group ,
Lenny and Sheri reserved the picnic
area, made the trophies and got the
cake. We have some limited edition

June 7will start with the General meeting
and our June 11 run is to the beautiful
town of Idyllwild, nestled in the San Jacinto Mountains . Then is out to Nissan Jam
in La Palma Park in Anaheim on June 12.
That is going to be a busy weekend.

The Z Car CLUB OF SAN DIEGO is
a group of
Datsun and Nissan Z enthusiasts and a
Charter
Member of the National Z Car Club Association.
Purpose: The Club is organized as a
California Nonprofit Mutual Benefit
Corporation formed to:1) Provide its
members with access to knowledge
about their Z Cars;
2) Provide a forum for members and
other interested parties;
3) Exchange Z Car information;
4) Organize events and activities for
members which enhance their enjoyment of Z car ownership.

Monthly Meetings are held the first
Tuesday of each month with dinner at 6
PM and meeting starting at 7 PM. See

From 52, take the Genesee exit south to
Clairemont Mesa, go west just past Clairemont
Drive, and it’s on the right
From 5, go to Clairemont Dr and go east a
couple miles ‘til you get to the Clairemont
Square Center. Turn right on Clairemont
Mesa Blvd. Then look for the Denny’s. on
your left. We park in back of Denny’s

PRESIDENT’S MEMBERSHIP LETTER
Hello ZCSD Members. A short note to thank you all for
being part of the most active and largest Z car club in
SoCal. March is the month in witch we renew our club
membership. Hope you enjoyed 2015, the meetings and
guest speakers, the monthly runs and activities.
As part of your benefits from your membership you belong to a network of sponsors that provide you with
great service and discount for all your Z car needs : Motorsports, Roger Daniels, The Dyno Shop, Bumper Doc,
San Diego Wheels and tires, Aero Auto Repair, C&D Auto
Care, Courtesy Nissan, Pacific Nissan, Mossy Nissan,
Summit Transmissions to mention a few.
We are looking forward to another great year of meetings, speakers, and drives. The ZCSD has become the
most active Z Car Club in California, and may be in the
Western States.
It is that time of year where we need to pay our dues.
The reason for the dues is to pay for the expense of running the club which include the following: 1) Paying for
our membership in the National Z Club of America, 2)
club insurance for the events that we organize , 3) part
of your cost for the Holiday Party in December is paid by
the Club. The dues remain the same $36 for the year,
which is just $3 per month. This is the best deal in town.
Don’t miss out. Fill out the renewal form and bring it to
the next meeting.

MAY 2016 General Meeting
Glad to see such a great turn out at our May general meeting. Thanks to Clif for another great video presentation on the Bottom Buster Motor Tour.
After the Club business meeting we gather at the parking to check our awesome cars. Congrats to Rex Houseman for
bringing back to life his triple carburetor 240Z. It sounds amazing.
Z BASH 2016
Z Bash 2016 was held at the Anaheim Stadium. The turn out was incredible hundreds of beautiful Z car. All models were represented from the 240Z to the 370Z. Even the 2016 GTR and the Titan models were present. Tony
Anaya from SoCal Z, Hector Cademartori race car driver and awesome talented illustrator and Jay Ataka from
JDM-car-parts.com were all present . One of the highlight of the show was Mr. K’s Yellow 240Z G nose
From stock to modified this was a real Z car paradise. Lisa, Bob and Rex enjoyed the cars
Plenty of Nissan and Datsuns to satisfied the gearheads
Taka Sato yellow 240Z was a show stopper
Most Z car Clubs were present , its nice to see this great car community come together. We really are a big family.

Kenny Seo, Hunter Hayes and myself got together to bring back to life David Mihalko’s 240Z, but we
had to have some food and drinks just in case it would take longer than anticipated!!!
25th Anniversary Picnic and Car Show
Beautiful Santee Lakes was the scenario for our 25th Anniversary and car show. Thanks to Lenny and Sheri for
reserving the area and making the trophies and getting the cake, water and sodas.
Salvador Gonzalez from San Diego Taco Company fed us good. Douglas Tahuite from Performance
Tuner Magazine donated his time and took picture of our cars and our group.

GTR at Nissan Design America
Nissan Headquarters and Mossy Nissan sponsored a 2016 GTR unveiling at the Nissan Design America
Clif Yaussi and myself represented ZCSD at this event , we enjoyed the awesome Nissan GTR .

This awesome event was organized by our club friend and Z car owner , Daniel Goodman from HG Motorsports and
Pacific Nissan at The Lot movie theaters in La Jolla.
