Our Vario Hammock Stand offers a unique combination of
German engineering and Far East production to deliver a high
quality stand of exceptional value. Made of heavy gauge steel,
the powder coated Vario adjusts in both length (121”-147”)
and height (47”-57”) to accommodate any size hammock.
If an extra long hammock is used, we can also provide an
extension adapter, increasing the overall hanging length up to

Our new Mango Tree Collection is a true example of the green utilization of
resources. Mango groves in Thailand are constantly recycled with trees reaching
the end of their fruit producing life cycle in 10-15 years. At that point, the trees are
harvested for their wood and new trees are planted. That wood by-product is the
raw material for our producer at Chiang Mai in northwest Thailand. The mango
wood is hand turned by artisans and dried in kilns fueled by mango wood shavings.
The process results in a responsible utilization of wood secondary to the fruit
production. Like all Byer Birding products, our Mango Tree homes are thoughtfully
configured with dimensions and features that are truly good for the birds.
