Every country is requested to present a team integrated by three females and
three men, as follows:
WOMAN and MAN-SENIOR Born before 1994
WOMAN and MAN-JUNIOR Born on or after 1994
WOMAN and MAN-CADET Born on or after 1996
MERCOSUR CUP:
Only for athletes from Clubs and Institutions members of the Orienteering South
American Confederation (Art.5 CMO Rules).

Open to any country. Cathegories as follows: H-12, D-12, H-14, D-14, H-16, D-16,
H-18, D-18, H-20, D-20, H-21, D-21, H-35, D-35, H-40, D-40, H-45, D-45, H-50, D-50, H55, D-55, H-60, D-60, H-65, D-65, H-70, D-70, H-75, D-75, H-80, D-80, H-85, D-85, H90, D-90. Cathegories M/W21 open to any age. Clubs and Federations must
submit their applications indicating Sub-Cathegories and Courses E, A, B, C or N
(Beginners).
SPECIAL ATTENTION: Athletes are allowed to participate in more than one event
only if she/he meets the requirements for the event. For example: Luis Perez
H21A from Uruguay may be part of the XX LC, the VIII MERCOSUR CUP, and the
2nd. IMOM.
The Organizer Comitee could join up Cathegories according to the number of
participants. In that case, it will be properly informed to the incumbent
Federations.

The XX Latin Cup and its events will take place in the broad
geographical environment of Maldonado department, from the
coast line of the River Plate and the Atlantic coast, the exhuberant
landscape of the Ballena Hills and Arboretum Lussich, to the tipical
“Gaucho” sabana, including forests of valleys and hills.
Attending this particularity of the department of Maldonado, we
offer a variety of options and prices from “hard floor” sites, family
houses (on voluntary basis), and municipal accommodation, to 1 to
5 stars hotels. Chiefs of delegations are kindly invited to considering the different distances to the events´ sites - contact
our Logistical Coordinators for each region according to the list
below, who will extend their support and help in order to resolve
your accommodation, food and transport issues.
